NOTE: Because of the Theme tie, we allowed everyone to pick either Theme. Using both was optional. To keep things simple, there will still only be one Theme category. Every category in Ludum Dare voting is an opinion, so you’re welcome to rate them as you see fit. But we encourage you to be fair in your scores to people that chose only one Theme, and not both.

Nice idea for a shooter with two buttons. The whole ship rotating for different weapons is very cool. Good stuff!
Clicking the link brings me to a page that says "Lol, you visit the page does not exist." This is after using google to translate the page. This means I cannot download or play :(
OMG!I have just known it recently that BaiDuYun can't be visited in other country...ಥ_ಥ (No longer love...)
my friend Mr.hitman has uploaded it to the onedrive
Thanks alot for all comments~
sorry for my negligence....
I feel like sometimes it was impossible to dodge some bullets, which didn't feel good. Overall shooting is pretty cool. I mostly found myself using one weapon, the one shooting through everything. Other weapons seem much much weaker. And needed a better balance. And I didn't have time to decide which weapon to use at any given moment anyway, because there was so much going on.
I's great that you managed to fit so much features in just two buttons. I liked the music and graphics. The gameplay was good, but it can be polished.
Thanks~~! above all~
@dvdking your feedback is sooo useful! I also feel the yellow-lazer-weapon is so powerful that casue the weapon system feel a little bit un-balance ToT , we will abosorb your advise to fix and polish this game more~
@potatograder thank you~! I feel this game is too difficult... I can't even beat the boss....we will polish it more~~and make it more balance~
Nicely made! Not my favority genre, but I like how you simplified the concept by automating the shooting and taking away the horizontal movement.
A really creative use of the tow button theme in order to provide a really varied gameplay experience. It was really clever to allow the player to rotate to change weapons. I think the difficulty could be lowered by a substantial margin initially, and then slowly increase it, as it becomes a bit too bullet hellish before you really get to grips with the controls.
Good audio & and graphics, but the controls combined with the complexity of the gameplay seems to fit oddly. Good overall.
@Joror @monetai Thanks for your feedback~~!
@bumblepie your advise really nice!~ i think give substantial margin initially really important, we will do it in new version~~thankyou~~
@anotak thankyou~~ this gameplay really a little bit complex,i think we need to polish it more(for more balance and more good feeling~)
The rotating mechanic is pretty awesome. I often had no idea what was happening or why I died. There was a lot going on. I think sometimes I died after being hit by only one thing, and then other times I could take multiple hits by the same object and stay alive. Music is pretty rad.
Fun game, but definitely a little difficult from the get go. I wasn't able to get the super weapon to work either.
Nice game, didn't realise the guns were different to begin with so maybe that could be made more clear. Very enjoyable though.
Neat little experiment! I like the rotation mechanic, but I wish that the bullets and the player's hitbox were smaller (it seems kind of inconsistent, so maybe the issue is really that some other hitboxes are larger than I'd expect?) and that there were more inertia to the player's movement. Kinda wish the game moved forward a little faster and were zoomed out further, too, but these may just be a matter of personal preference.
Cheers!
@SHLFStudios sooo sorry for not describe the energy's function clearly in Instructions ToT ,your feedback really get us to mention this problem~ thank you!
@Aaranos In old version,I also can't use the super weapon freedom~~orz (the energy's collect really hard.. ಥ_ಥ)
@Claire1605 Great idea~ we will mention it in the subsequent modifications, thank you~~
@akirassasin thanks for your remind!~ thank you~
@mr.a supercool~~ your feedback is really enrichment and enlightening! about the inertia , when you told me about this then did I relaize it~ thank you! and from the view of player's reaction, It's exactly too compact?/narrow,i think we really need to think more carefully about this problem~
Cheers~!
Like the game weapons mechanic. It looks inovative! But game is toooo hard. Can't dodge such amount of bullets =(
Pro:
+ Very interesting mechanics
+ Great artwork
Con:
- Background artwork is a bit less polished than the rest
- Very difficult to control... maybe more buttons would be solve it(though it wouldn't the theme)
- Some collisions are a bit strange, specially with the walls
Obs:
o Yellow shots are way better than others
Great work!
Pretty cool game. Great job ! i like your game. But for me I just want to have capslock enabled to play thats normal ?
This was really fun! I like the rotation weapon change mechanic a lot, in fact I was working on something similar years and years ago but never fleshed it out. Nice to see it works :)
The difficulty is pretty high very early on, so many bullets but I'm trying to aim my diagonals at the enemies on the floor so it was really tough!
Your game is really cool, the idea fits together and the weapon spinning is a really innovative element. Great game!
Thanks alot for all the comments,These feedback really useful for us!
Happy New Year~
Cheers!
It was a bit hard to get the hang of the controls in the game, but once I got'em, WHOA! It's a pretty challenging 2-button shmup!
The rotating mechanics and the way you've built it was hard, but pretty fun! Good choice for soundtrack too! :)
Congrats on making it!

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
Cool!
