NOTE: Because of the Theme tie, we allowed everyone to pick either Theme. Using both was optional. To keep things simple, there will still only be one Theme category. Every category in Ludum Dare voting is an opinion, so you’re welcome to rate them as you see fit. But we encourage you to be fair in your scores to people that chose only one Theme, and not both.
ALSO: Itch.io has an experimental game downloader over here. You may find it useful.
You play a young panda who just lost her mother. You must do everything to find her. But becarefull of traps and falls ...
The little panda needs you :)
In this game no left and right controls. Mouse controls direction and movements.
Game was made in Java language;
Graphisms with photoshop CS5;
Sounds width Bfxr;
Font in OpenfontLibrary Website;
And for the entire game is my brain juice XD.
Controls :
SPACE - Jump
CONTROL - Walk slowly
Have fun with my game ! Please don't forget comments ! ;)

What kind of OS you use ? You have Java runtime ? Thanks for your comment but for me on win7 it work !!! I don't understood.
Nice game! It worked for me after I unzipped it.
The graphics look quite nice and I like the theme.
Some improvements that I can think of would be to add checkpoints and some music. Also maybe that your score lowers over time, so that you want to finish as fast as possible.
Yeah good ideas ThaRemo I think I add and fix littles bug post now and work on levels design thank for your comment.
Thanks Yamzho ! I have downloaded your game and I play now. I also leave you a little comment ;)
Nice game! I liked the gameplay, great ideia. Worked fine on OSX.
blackbird806 I think it be a security concerns on files or at java because the new release have an control security and as the app is not signed does not want to run for fear that it is dangerous. Try to ask your config java to allow this program or run it with administrator settings. thank for reply.
i think theres bug when the panda just stop completely for couple seconds and then running again
but overall i like the graphics, the jump sounds quite annoying since the pitch too high for me
For those who can't run it, open a terminal/command prompt and type: java -jar <path-to-extracted-jar>.
Nice game! In the future I recommend combining the 'how to play' and the gameplay screen. This is a game jam, there's not shame in showing instructions in gameplay!
Nice! Game was a bit hard. One thing I definitely think is backwards is the "walk slowly" button. It should be the opposite: a "run fast button". I had a bit of a hard time getting past the bridge, I think that part might have some bugs in it, and early on the panda stopped running and started waving its head left and right. Is that supposed to happen? It only happened the first time I played. Anyway, solid concept and fun art.
Pro:
+ Nice artwork
+ Good mechanics
Con:
- A bit hard to control
- When the bridge breaks it sort of gravitates the panda down. I used to jump and go fast on bridge but sometimes I would die trying
Obs:
o Does it have only one level? At the end of the level the panda just commemorated and control was passed to the mouse
Good job!
Thanks for your feedback and your analysis ( PoQA Games, Dietrich Epp, nihilaleph ). Thanks a lot for your advices ;)
Thanks for your comments ( crafteverywhere, sorlok, Joror, Ghen ). I work to fix bugs and add new features and work on graphisms
Nice job! I was using a trackpad and I found the controls really difficult. The panda was moving really fast and it was hard to land on platforms. Cool looking sprites!
Cute game, my best score was 620. It tooks me time to pass the first bridge but then it was ok. I spent most of my time holding contorl and release it only to run so maybe you should have made a run button.
Nice little game. Releasing ctrl felt a little risky. Some parts seemed inaccessible (I may just be bad at it to).
Fun but very difficult. Couldn't clear the first stage. "Panda the Hedgehog."
wooo~~great concept and graphic~~
love this experience so much~!
very fun!
Thanks a lot for your feedback and your opinions ciaodavinci, Benjamin, Gordy, Gaspard_, gallerdude, Tanton-H2X. After lots of opinions, i think my game is hard and I try to change game level ;).
Pretty cool, I like that it has a bit different take on two button controls except left / right. Had some problems with the "bridges", falling right through them. Also the sounds...not that nice to listen to.

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
Hey guy I went just to download your game and it doesn't work(when I double click on the jar file nothig happen).
