Uploaded a mac build, I guess it should work...

I like the mood of your game and the graphics are very neat! I liked the puzzle parts as well.

I had difficulty playing it for the following reasons: no azerty support (arrows work but the control scheme is difficult) and the mouse look also didn't move the character. This made navigating the enemies very difficult. Overall good entry!

nice hero graphics, some objects did not fit and a little confusing on what to do

Psychedelic and eery atmosphere, especially the music. I couldnt shake the feeling, doing something very bad when I burn those dudes and they explode into those little life balls. And the music! Very creepy!

While the low lighting makes for a nice atmosphere, it also made the game hard to actually play.

Game was pretty fun. In the end I player mostly with stealth, worked better than trying to fight.

As mentionned, very atmospheric. Looks good and surreal.

Good job!

Nice work. Not easy to make a 3D game in such a short delay. Ît was lagy on my end but that comes from me I guess. I regret the lack of feedback (visual&sounds) uppon damaging enemies, took me a while to figure out I could actually kill them. So even tho the gameplay is a bit clumsy at this point of development, I like the idea of being some badass dark lord which burn stuff around him ^^

Its a little hard to see if you are doing any damage to the enemies. But it was satisfying seeing them collapse into a group of power balls. The graphics look nice, they add a lot to the total atmosphere. It was pretty unclear what to do in the beginning, but after a few minutes I got the hang of it. Though I noticed that running right into the monster with your laser was an easy tactic to make short work of it, which kind of killed the challenge a little. I would have also liked to see some more enemy types. I believe there are only 2 in the game, one being the guys with the blue goggles and the other being the turret. But I believe the turret was only used once in all the rooms, which is a shame! All in all a really nice game.

The audio and lighting make for a nice mood, but the lighting is so low that it makes it difficult to see what is going on some of the time. It could benefit from a few more instructions too. There is definitely potential though, creating a 3d game in the time period is a great achievement!

THAT WAS AWESOME! better than most games. Good job

Aug 29, 2015 @ 4:35am

Awesome graphics! Weapons seemed a little weak, hard to aim the laser and the orb didn't seem to do anything. But still a hell of a lot of game for a short amount of time!

Aug 29, 2015 @ 6:13pm

- graphics look good, you should try attaching a point lights to the more stuff, like the orbs you shoot.
- movement feels good
- i cant seem to kill enemies
- it is hard to aim the laser
- i managed to win, by just avoiding enemies
- a few times i had problem where it let the mouse go off the screen and when i clicked it got minimized

Although I had some difficult to aim, everything else was good. Really liked it.

Quite interesting to explore but It's really really hard to see anything, and the fact that the camera always faces the same direction makes it really hard to fight some enemies coming from certain directions.

Regarding the control issues people are having: by linking the laser directly to your movement it becomes very hard to avoid the incoming fire. If you linked the laser to the view direction you could strafe around enemies and add a bit more strategy to the gameplay.

Went through the game and it's pretty fun. I will say you can avoid fights by sniping with orbs and also move faster by going sideways. I also would of liked an exit game once done. Other than that nice multi-leveled game, in 3d no less.

Mini Submission FAQ

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.

CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.

If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.

CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.

CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.

MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs ( and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
