The knight is really cool but the attack and move animations look a bit odd and unnatural. Really cool game otherwise. I initially thought this was some kind of PC master race game because of the title.

Nice game. Visually looks good and the feedback from fighting feels right. It takes a bit getting used to the fact that the knight only attacks in the direction that you are actually moving and not where the cursor is pointing though, but I'm guessing that's because it's made more for a controller.

Hitting with the knight feels rewarding! :)

Looks good and could have been fun, but... Peasants die from two hits while the knight dies from one? No, just no. What kind of dark knight is that.

I like the music and the artstyle, I'm not entirely sure how the attack works, sometimes I do a double swipe thing with my sword but I have no idea what causes it.

It's because the gameplay is like that: you have to perform a ''just attack'' which allows you to do the ''double swipe thing'' :)

How to do: when you do an attack first, a circle will appear. It's white then red.
When the circle is red, perform another attack and it will be more powerful with more range~ that's the just attack!

Nice one, not easy to get the gameplay at the first time, but it came right some tries after :).
Not really convinced by the music, but sound effects are great.

I liked the rhythm that comes from timing the Just Attacks, and the ability to reflect projectiles was also cool.

I wasn't really sure how to use the poison effectively, some times it seemed to clear the entire board and other times it didn't seem to do anything.

I think you wanted to keep the game difficult (one hit death), but allowing an attack in the direction of the mouse (or thumbstick) seems like it could improve the ability to dash around while keeping the difficulty. I found myself never using the dash because I had to face enemies to attack them.

Man that is hard - Love the multi hitting of peasants. The pesky peasants seems crazy overpowered as well.
I do however not feel a lot like the monster.

I would like to try it out, but it seems the OS/X Link leads to a .exe file. Am i missing something here?

it's hard to kill them all!

Great game. It took a while for me to figure out how to use the double click attack but since then I really like the mechanic.

I think the single biggest improvement would be more feedback for actions. I am still not quite sure how poison works, there should be throw animation, hit animation etc.. Same for knowing what killed you. The red circle for double click is some great visual feedback.

Finished my first game without realizing you could time a second attack to swipe. Now the game is much more fun !

The poison isn't easy to use though. Managed to use it onc otherwise i keep missing :(

Fun game, good job !

I enjoy playing this game but is weird that the Knight dies at the firs hit because he got an armor and he is demoniac.
I like the music a lot, the gameplay could be better because when I dash always die or maybe is just a little to hard. Anyway great game congrats!!!!

I played this game longer than I should, not sure why. Maybe because it feels like a shmup.

A few things:
-. Diagonal attacks pls.
-. Poison is supposed to be the emergency "everyone dies" attack, but a bit hard to pull off because its range is even smaller than a normal attack, and it's delayed.

Score: 40250.

Now you can play on these OS !

Thank you for the advise^^
there's a lot of fx sprite and the Diagonals attacks that is missing due to the lack of time (we did 48h, couln't do 72 with work).
It would greatly improve the attack feeling for sure yeah!
Some feature like an online highscore leaderboard was planned and a combo score with the just attack.

The poison range is tiny and hard to use to contrast with the powerful poison attack :)

Cool art and amazing music! Got some bugs so I couldn't click on buttons and my attacks getting stuck. The game followed the theme well and I loved how you got the music and art so cartoonish! :)

Great game! Your cdr on your attack kinda goes with the rythm of the fight music. Posion might be splash to make it easier. Other than that awesome game!

I like it a lot. I would probably play every day if you put this on the Google Play store.

Give those peasants some smack! Splendorous graphics and smooth gameplay. However, I don't see how it fits the theme.

Mini Submission FAQ

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.

CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.

If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.

CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.

CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.

MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs ( and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
