You are an Ogre running through a town causing mayhem. Avoid the obstacles and eat as many pies and drink as many ales as you can. The townsfolk will throw things at you from the sidelines. Sometimes they throw pie and ale, catch and devour them and avoid the pitchforks, spears, and rocks.
If you crash into too many obstacles or get hit with too many weapons, you'll slow down and the angry mob will get you! Eat pies and drink ale to regain your distance from the mob.
A,D to move left, right. (left/right arrows work too)
We hope you enjoy! Post your scores! Here's a game-play video demo with a pretty good score for you to beat! ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQb-B-uIc6I
Safari users: Safari seems to have issues with the WebGL version, but it should work well in Firefox or the downloadable desktop version.

Thanks, we just tested on mac WebGL and see the symptom you described. We're working on a mac build now.
We've uploaded Windows, Mac, and Linux desktop version for anyone having issues with the WebGL version. We have confirmed issues with the WebGL version in Safari, though it seems to run fine in Firefox on Mac.
nice graphics and a cool game, not the best interpretation of the theme though
Couldn't get the high scores on screen. But the game can be quite addictive, plus that sound...please keep that up!
Great game - very addictive! I had to play it many times and will return for more... :-)
It's funny, has great audio and is well balanced.
Score: 581
Very well done!
525! That was nuts, there were several times I felt that hitting an object was the only option, but overall solid entry!
Nice, lots of hilarious voices, one even accused me of stealing their baby- not true unless it was under a pie. Good job!
Just amazing! No problems as far as I played and had a lot of fun doing so!
Played the web version, the graphic mostly black and white, like the lighting was too strong or textures where missing. Was pretty fun!
The graphics look real nice. It's a solid runner type of game, nothing groundbreakingly new but nothing wrong with it either.
I like the walking animation. And the bouncing boulders made me laugh. Good job!
@CosmicAdventureSquad were you using Safari? If so, a somewhat simple fix is to try Firefox if you have it. Safari seems to have a hard time rendering correctly.
I like the concept with the angry mob and all. Graphics are nice and the sound effects were amusing. The game has that "one more try, I can do better" feel to it, which is key in runner games. Fine work. 750 was my best.
It's all ogre now...
The web version didn't work for me, so I downloaded the Windows one instead.
I like the graphics as they're pretty consistent, and it's really addictive!
Good game!
Very polished game. Good graphics. Love the ogre animation! Audio is great also.
Although it's easy to miss - nice detail - those little achievements (i.e. "Pie Master!" or "Drunken Sailor" ;))
Overall Score: 983 (distance 443, score 540)
Very buggy, especially the collision with objects that slow you down, however I had fun and the visuals are good :)
Score 182! Congrats, this is impressive! You have music, great graphics, great animation, and a fully-functional and fun game! Kudos! Did you get any sleep at all?
Great looking models and loved the voices :) Had fun even though I was awful at dodging :P
To be honest, feels like a tired game genre, with a little too much health. The placement of the obstacles, as well as the obstacle's colliders not fitting with the graphics, sometimes made it hard to maneuver. I do think the comical audio was great, but also jarring when put together with relatively realistic graphics.
A fun, simple infinite runner with nice graphics. Good work!
A classic runner game with a good sense of humor. Ogre stole my pie :(
Very nice project guys, i really love it, please check our game too and if you liked it give us a vote. Look for Road to hell and enjoy.
Very nice game! Went to 554!
Graphics are pretty great, music is nice (especially with the "tension mode"), but it had some troubles looping. The voice over are fun and the gameplay is classic but well executed.
Also (on webGL version), it had some fps issues, but I guess it's specific to this version.
At the first time, it's hard to know what item is good or not for the player. I liked the graphics and audio. The game is simple but fun.
That's some pretty graphics there. Nice music too! I managed to run a distance of 470 and got a score of 570. I Guess I'm a pie master! :P
Fun game! Thought I was doing well until I saw your gameplay vid O_O
Overall the graphics are really good, but the pitchfork/boulder move at an odd angle and the UI doesn't seem as polished as the rest.
My pie!
Fun game, although a little more depth in the mechanics would improve it.
good gameplay. Everything was white on my mac mini. I was just able to see the outlines.
bombjack, if you were using the webgl version, there seems to be issues with Unity webgl in Safari. It should work well on Firefox or the desktop Mac version. Thanks for your feedback.
Well done! It was quite fun to play (got till 754), the music is nice, and the sound effects were funny. Sometimes, the (random?) pitch of some voices was way too high for my taste. Also, the pitch forks that were thrown were sometimes hard to notice, and they fly at a peculiar angle. ;) But overall, well done! :D
Really good graphics and solid gameplay. This would probably be a very popular mobile game if some more work was put into it.

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
Distance 91, score 157. But I have the screen all white. The screenshots on this site looks pretty, but I almost did not see a thing. I use Safari on mac. Thx for the game!
