You awaken at the home directory on a Machine Learning server.
Text Adventure ensues!
Type "help" to see valid commands.
The game ended up quite short (you know how it is), with some shoehorned story, but hopefully its a nice taste!
Made in Unity for some godawful reason.
(I hope it takes as long for you to play as it did for me to compile)

Great mood, and amazing story. You cracked the command line feel, good job
Very interesting concept, the game was very difficult to follow though. I still enjoyed it however!
Twixtor: Yeah, Unity wasn't the right choice. I had plans to use graphics at some point. Didn't get around to it in the end.
Chromebookbob: Thanks! I'm glad the feel came across =)
Gaga: Thanks for playing, and feedback! I think typing "help" or "network" again might have helped, but I definitely had trouble getting the right hints across in places.
The idea is nice. You could evolve it into sth really interesting. Great job! :)
Fantastic game! I have always wanted to play something like this; an incredible use of the theme.
Nice game! Reminds me of what portal done in their website with Glados before portal 2 came out.
Story's intriguing too!
I'am so bad at these kind of games >.<
When I connected to maryWS the screen got black and nothing happend. I also can not go back :/
Still interesting approach to the theme.
Interesting concept, had a great time playing it. Story is great. Not a big fan of this kind of games , but you added a special touch to it:D great work
Thanks everyone!
I'm glad the console came across well. I haven't played hack run, but I guess I assumed it would be like this. I should check it out.
Sorry for the parts where the story, goals or puzzles are unclear. They were all kind of rushed. But I'll make a note to set the stage a little bit better.
Nizl, that sounds like a bug >.<
I'll take a look.
Really great game and liked the way you used the theme, one of my favourite uses so far. Also liked the old command prompt like interaction but did run into a bug. I connected and spread around the world but then a bug seemed to occur where it says :
"Development Console" Canvas element contains more than 65535 vertices. This is not supported.
Liked reading the emails in the folders to find out more about what was going on too, well written.
Fun game and does make me want to go back and play an old text adventure.
Thanks for the bug reports guys, I think Nizl experienced the same bug. Basically I let the history get too long. I've started trimming it now. So it shouldn't happen again.
Interesting idea. Would love to play a fully fleshed out game with this style (Mu Complex is ringing a bell). Not sure if I beat it or what though. A tad bit confusing.
Great work nonetheless.
Very interesting concept. I didn't get it straight away :) but was still engaging...
Nice approach to playing a sentient AI! I enjoyed playing this one.
I saw a bug: sporadically, where instead of formatting words with colors, it displays the html tags around the words. A few commands later and the formatting corrected itself (is your game self correcting and sentient?).
Overall a great entry! A web based framework would serve you much better over unity too.
For the record, I would play a full game like this :)
Nice story, nice feelings. I liked it even if it was pretty easy and short. My only complain goes to Unity ignoring the rich text from time to time, leaving me with all the color tags around the place.
Thanks for the feedback guys! Yeah, the rich text thing only happened briefly on mine, so I figured it was livable, but I guess it's happening worse than I thought >.<
I will definitely engineer a bit better next time. Writing character by character with rich text was always going to be hacky.
Your game is a little gold mine in term of interaction :)
i'm not a programmer so i liked to have my hand dirtying on this, i just felt monstruous manipulating command. :P
I may be mistaken, but you putted a lot of effort into it, well done.

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
Fun game but would have been better if it was written in native html/webgl. Unity is to slow for this.
