Hi folks. This is my contribution for Ludum Dare 33. I did a little casual game with a cute monster frog which is trying to catch all flies around it. In order to move, click on the screen and frog follows the last point which has been selected. But be careful because you must avoid all bombs and catch some bonus so as to decrease time flow. I did three game modes - ARCADE does not include bombs or bonus, but you need to catch all flies. If a fly goes out the screen, you lose a life. TIMER displays bombs and bonus, but you need to do the best score in a predefined time (avoid the bombs - you have three lives). The last mode is ZEN - no time, but bombs are possible. Do the best score. Thank you to share with me your feelings about my project. I hope that you enjoy it. I wish you the best ++
I used Unity 5 + monodevelop, Gimp, SFXR and Soundtrap for the music.

Cool Game it like the old Missile Command game, I use to play that one for hours.
i am unconvinced of this frogs monstrocity
otherwise this has a lot of polish (multiple game modes? what is this) and is overall nice.
i agree with the other commenter who said it would probably do well on mobile.
Very nice!!!! Fantastic graphics and audio. Plays well. Feels sorta like upside-down missile command? Best game I've reviewed so far for LD33.
I see that your target platform was mobile. Art is awesome.
OK. I understand you my friends. Give me a few days and I post here an Android version of this game ++
Nice easy to pick up gameplay. The bombs add a nice challenge, especially because you travel to your click instead of instantly teleporting there.
The song is pretty great as well :D
Finally I did a release of this game for Android. You can directly download it using the link which I added. I hope that you enjoy my little project on your mobile device ++
Who is the Monster ?! I'm not sure that game was for Ludum Dare only.
Loved this game, it has a very cute look and the music is also very fitting to the style. My high score was 3k on Arcade mode.
The gameplay is good, but it has a generic 'mobile game' vibe tbh. The art is consistent and overall it's a cute game.
Nicely polished! This can be something interesting if you choose to develop it further!
A mobile version would be great!
To me the arcade should have bombs and not the timer one, but it's just me.
Exelent job!
very simple and fun concept! not sure if it fits the theme :s and artistically i would liked it more if the background fited the gameplay better - ex: the fly makes sence but a flying frog seems wierd. this is just me being picky X)
gj!
Feels perfect for tablets =)
I really liked the timed mode but I think it would be good if the archs the flies follow would differ in heights a bit. As it is the arcade mode gets pretty easy if you stay upp high and only go left and right.
Super cute and charming presentation, but not quite sure I agree with the frog being a monster ;)
It's a very addicting game! As another user said before it's perfect for smartphones and tablet devices.
The connection with the theme is a bit weak though.
Graphics are amazingly polished and clean. Would definitely love to see this developed further!
I played it on my Android tablet. Works well, though the frame rate is slow (15fps or so). Nice graphics, though I'd like to see some animation. Nice music, though the sound effects are a little minimal.
Thank you for your support bvanschooten. I have tested my project on a Samsung Galaxy Tab4 and different other mobile devices. I played with a good frame rate. However I know that I can optimize some code parts. Thank you ++
Neat game for smartphones, shame mine is broken at the moment. Anyway mechanics are pretty simplistic but kinda addicting, fun game to jump in when you have 5-10 free minutes (which is ideal for mobile games).
Graphics are really good!!
Fun, great music...
It's a really good work!! I loved it! :)
The fresh colors and the relaxing music made the zen mode real fun to play. I have no mercy with those pesky flies whatsoever! One round began with 5 bombs flying at me, but I survived.
The atmosphere of the graphics and audio have nothing in common. A video game simple and fun, perfect for mobiles.
Love the comic graphics, the game elements could have some little animation. The music makes the mood. Lovely entry, congrats!
The arcade is just too hard ! ^^
Fun to play and very clean graphics.
would be funnier on touch device. unfortunately I had to test it on my computer. I don't remember when frogs became monsters ;p
Basic premise is quite fun, although I feel like the controls would have been more intuitive had the frog followed the mouse cursor rather than having to click. This was more of an issue on the arcade game mode, the zen and timer modes both worked fine with the default control scheme.
This game tricked me into thinking it was easy because its cute. Very polished and fun. Solid . played on tablet
Nice game! I really like the graphis. This game reminds me of fruit ninja
I enjoyed the game, I think it is a pretty solid entry. I like the art, and I really like the splatter (would have been nice to have audio on the splat). The only thing I have against this game, is I don't see how this applies to the theme. Besides that, nice entry!
Bug notice : You can't collect timers
XWarZonex. Thank you for your comment. When the frog monster hits a time bonus, it not disappears, but time flow decreases - time=time/2. It's not a bug ++
I think that this game would work great on an iPad! Avoiding the bombs was simple but challenging a the same time, and I liked that the graphics were simple but very approachable.
Well done!
Fun entry! The audio is fantastic, and your sprites are extremely detailed and visually appealing. I wish there were a little bit more animation for the frog, at the moment he seems rather lifeless :P . Aside from that, everything was coherent and felt polished. Nice job, I would love to see more of this!
Your game has been rated by our team member Antonin Charvat (music composer). Here is his comment: Great art, but I missed at least some small animations of the frog. Also controls weren't suitable for me since I played on touchpad. I think this should be awesome on mobile phones and tablets.
really great~
the mosquito also recalled me a demo which i played when i studied the FlashMX~~ cartoon characteristic enough, with the music i feel so good and relax~
these sprite may more juicy
love the Zen-Mode,time slowing-Down feels great~
pretty nice game when it is on mobile, please try to ad combo's liked the art a lot

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
Very soothing game. This could be popular on mobile or tablet devices. :)
The frog looks nice! He is not a monster.
