A nice twist on a dress up - a face up? :} Wish there was more time (don't we all!?!). FML
Really nice looking and polished entry. Well done.
What's the connection to the theme though?
@Headmade, it's about feeling like a freak monster every time you look in the mirror. You know, the usual teenager stuff.
I liked this, really nice and original (when looking at how you match the theme)
A clever take on the theme. Beautiful artwork, i liked exploring the different possibilities of getting ready for the day. Very well done!
Indeed, we had a similar idea! And it's fun to see how different our executions are. Is there a way to end this? I don't think so (and understand why). This is a great game, and obviously, I love the interpretation of the theme!
@Pierrec, I was thinking about doing a proper endgame with different outcomes, but time constraints hit me hard (obviously); but I guess the message worked fine without it, so it's probably for the better.
This is brilliant! Maybe my favourite so far. Music is a great fit!
Really great idea ! And I must say that trying to improve this tennager's look is pretty addictive :)
It takes time for me to believe it doesn't have end. Music and art is good ~~
Very well made, love the variety of different stuff you can apply and what effects they can make. You really made getting ready in the morning a real pressuring task.
Loved it. Most fun I've had getting ready in the morning, ever. Great execution give the time constraints.
Man, i lost some considerable time playing this game. I was in hope i could help improve the self esteem of the girl, tried every day the make her fine, but nothing could make her happy. I wish you could make a bigger game, with a story, helping this girl accept herself or something. Well, Great Game!
Love the theme more than anything, very nice point of view on it!
My favorite product of the jam even though it made me feel terrible. I'm so glad I have two sons...

Thinking on this more: the player, representing society, is the monster. We expect teenage girls to adhere to a standard that we don't expect of boys. We might use every product and make the girl 'perfect' but we've failed at the important task: making her happy as she is.
Wow, this is quite an interesting entry.
Really well executed and highly polished. Nice spin on the theme!
The aesthetics reminded me of Daria, which instantly caught my attention. I'm a sucker for this 'everyday slices of life' games and I love this one. Even tough the gameplay is pretty mechanical, it's beautiful and touching, without even saying a word.
Great choice for the music btw
I absolutely love the music, it fits the game really well.
The art is really well done and consistent. Interesting interpretation of the theme.
Good work, outside of Ludum Dare I would've had no idea this was done in 72 hours.
All I do just makes her look worse. I would be the worst 17 year old girl ever.
No tutorials needed, everything super fluid. Great interpretation and one that will keep you thinking.
The theme is well exploited ! The music set the mood so well, I really felt it was a perpetual and boring cycle. Clean graphics too :)
Amazing approach to the theme - it's not so obvious and touching real everyday problems. Even though I haven't found any outcomes and endings, the short time limit was very good choice. It wouldn't be so fun and moody if I could "fix" every problem every day.
The low self-esteem take on the theme is clever. It just bothers me how much it can bother teenage girls. The game is not fun which I think is the point of the game.
This is a great entry, I like the concept and the execution. Good job!
Yeesh, now I know what it's like for my little sister in the morning. Great game and an interesting take on the theme!
Ha ha, I didn't realise until I came here to rate that I'd been going out in an undershirt!
This game is tough. It seems like it would be impossible to solve all her problems in the time limit, but maybe that's the point. It's funny though, I like it.
Really loving your graphics style, its looks amazing!
A Very hard to fully dress-up for this short-time, I am always looks like a monster >:)
The game feels polished
Good job!
Are you ever able to win? Great graphics, love the use of theme. Super nice entry. I included it in part 14 of my Ludum Dare 33 Compilation video series, if you would like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/CvW_HEqR1oI
I loved every bit of it. Real good choice in music, you just can't see the thing without it but it is soo superb.
The game felt touching, as if I could relate so very much. It was really unexpected. A great interpretation of the them. Good art. Played well.
I guess you can tell that I fell head over heels for this game.
Thank you for this!
Whelp, now I know what's it like to be a 17 year old girl... or not. Not sure how this ties in with the "monster" theme, but very polish and well done.
The music and mood is great!

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
A really simple idea, that is super executed. WELL DONE.
