I really wish I could do this to my coworkers! Especially a guy named Harry!
Dark.
A nice way to blow off some steam.
Really enjoyed the music and camera effect.
Also liked the random "bullet tornadoes" that occur.
Awesome game really fun to play. I like the direction you took with the fantasy of being a monster i like when you do back to the real world the people you killed are alive. Also that is the bast game over screen i have ever seen.
I think the rage mode camera zooming in and out could have been toned down a little. Also you should name you download something like 'OfficeHours_win.rar' like you did with the exe.
the art and sound is really good as well.
I can't download the OS/X file. Drive shows it as a folder instead of a file. You might need to zip it first.
That's how we hate office work. Thou game need more ingame feedback or something.
@Thepattybeast
The files should be renamed now!
@ripter
I have zipped up the OS/X files!
Just tried the Windows build, but unfortunately I think it's broken. I spawned way outside of the map and couldn't get inside
Pretty well put together! The sound and graphics specifically stand out quite a lot. I found the camera zoom to the soundtrack kinda annoying. I also liked the projectiles and how they sort of curved?
OS/X build wouldn't work for me. downloaded and un-rar'ed, tried to run the .app, "Office Hours.app couldn't be opened". this is on OS/X 10.10.5
Well, I'm facing the "placed in black nothingness" bug everytime I try to play :/
I could fool around a little bit even outside the room and it was pretty fun, too bad it didn't work properly.
Congratulations guys!
The game concept seems interesting, but the gameplay is broken: the player moves to one direction automatically even if I have released all the keys. Made it a bit hard to play.
Holy crap! The visuals and music are awesome, made even better by the contrast between the two modes. Really fun going on a rampage like that too, bullets flying, bodies everywhere
'twas fun :) The camera zooming is kinda annoying, but the game itself is still enjoyable ^^
I actually really liked the zooming effect with the beat on the rage mode. I thought it made it more interesting and blood-pumping.
The two songs between the different modes were perfect opposites.
It would have been cool to have a couple of different weapons you could switch to, and maybe a mini-map to help you find your way to the co-workers.
The bullet effects and paths they took were amazing! It was a lot of fun going into rage mode. I loved the total top down view. And the change of music and color scheme when transforming into rage mode.
Well, that was surprisingly satisfying. I didn't quite get how the rage-mode worked but it was fun nontheless.
Loved the music and visual feedback. Great contrast between "boring"- and "rage"-mode. Good job!
Also, that bullet behaviour is amazing :D
Pretty effects and colors, loved the music. Fun game, congrats :D
Quite trippy, haha.
It's definitely a nice and fun game with awesome music and good graphics. The mood was definitely well set in both "modes".
A really solid entry indeed. Great work!
Good idea and cool execution, everything were very polished, but I did not undestend well why I was loosing.
Overall, Congrats =)
Tried it on Linux, but i couldn't control the character. The only thing i could do was to start him walking, and pressing c for rage mode. He just kept walking in the same direction until he collided with walls.
Cool game! I loved the transition between boring greyscale and mad colorful mayhem. I would have preferred the camera to be pulled out slightly further from the player, but since that was my only real gripe I'd say great job!
Some of the design choices aren't really working together, the music is implying I'm in some sort of roller coaster ride and I'm slowly walking around shooting one or two person at a time. I feel it would be better that enemy horde is swarming at you and you just fire blindly at them. Camera zooming too much is fine for me, but it's unsync to gameplay, I feel it would be better if the camera zooming is used as feedback to how many enemies you killed.
Holy cow, that was full on. Really liked it, felt very polished. Well done
Great game, really fun to play! Nice graphics and music as well.
Fun game! I was a little confused when my rage would runout, but I guess it was because I was spraying bullets everywhere. The zoom effect on the beat was excellent and definitely made it more intense, but it was kind of giving me motion sickness towards the end there. Well done!
Pretty neat idea! Bored vs. rage was great! The graphics were cool and music was awesome! The bullets were cool, but I didn't get what was going on ^^; Zooming too was cool, but it was a bit annoying for me...
I didn't quite understand the boss battle... too many bullets flying, didn't understand how I died xp
Oh a restart button would be great!
Great programming, that's what I have to say. I was a little disappointed when it was black and white, guess what, boom. Rage = color. Game play was smooth, I didn't run into any bugs, nice submission!
The camera tweening during rage mode could be toned down a bit but this was a very fun entry and I loved the transition from monochrome to full colour.
Lol :D Great entry! Controls were nice, music pretty fitting. That heartbeat effect was little strong for my eyes
All in all, Pretty neat entry!
Awesome! Can you please try my game out again because I fixed the bug. Thanks!
Switching to rage mode is great! That's why many game developers are indie and don't work at offices :)

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
The best game out there! Truly unique and captivating. A must play.
