This is one Mallard of a monster!
--------------------------------------------------------
"The old Henderson place. It was creepy and seemed abandoned, but we: Chiyo, Crystal, Melanie, Skylar and I, decided to go in anyway. Was it haunted? Did someone really live in the basement of this place? Why did it smell so bad? We had to find out..."
--------------------------------------------------------
In this game, the player doesn't get to play as a group of college girls investigating the old Henderson mansion. They do, however, play as the duck. This duck is a Mallard duck that embodies the spirits of the old dead Henderson family. His little wings and webbed feet may not be seen by mortals, but his presence can certainly be felt. And tonight, on the night of the murder that sealed the Henderson curse, death comes once again to this mansion....

PRAISE FOR GHOST DUCK
"Please stop calling me trying to get a soundbite for your piece. I now have fifty-six voicemails on my landline. Do you know how tedious it is clearing those one by one, all because of you? You know, I'm not afraid to pin you down in a local court for nuisance. Is that how you want this to end? I'm telling you, that's how it's going to end."
- Former child star Macaulay Culkin
"I have no comment to make on your video game and would kindly ask you to get off of my property before I call the police."
- Former entertainer Paul Reubens

Very funny! The game crashed for me randomly at one point but I really liked it. Good mood! WENK WENK WENK
Very well made! I'm just confused as to what to do. The only thing I could really figure out was moving the chair and powering the lamp.
Wehk. Wehk. Wehk.
The game crashed when I killed all but the last one when she entered the bathroom. it took a bit to figure out what to, but afterwords it was fun raining my ducky doom sauce on my victims.
Absolutely amazing! i played through so many times! i was sooo close to winning, <SPOILERS> when on the night the Otaku came out, this happened. http://i.imgur.com/3EkGSmF.png
other than that, outstanding work!
Thanks you all for the great feedback! We've just uploaded a new version of the game which doesn't crash, so check it out again if that was an issue for you :)
An amazing feat to pull off such a branching point and click game for a 72 hour jam. Incredibly ambitious and well executed, will require time and multiple playthroughs to see all the different dialog and solve all the different puzzles in the timeframe. Beautiful soundtrack that suits the mood perfectly. Hilarious teen girl cli che banter. Love it!
Well, it recalls me the Maniac Mansion universe a little bit, but the game is much faster than the ones of those times.
Good job
WEHK WEHK, quite fun, very good mood, and the art style is great. The music ties in with the game well, and even though I still haven't figured everything out, it was quite enjoyable to play.
Definately the best game I've played so far on LD! I love it! :D
Wehk. Wehk. Wehk.
The Ghost Trick parody that wasn't actually a Ghost Trick parody, but had a duck in it. Wehk wehk.
That was a surprisingly complete and well executed game for a 3-day jam. Well done, I will never trust a duck again.
Another excellent game! Nice work!
The only thing I'd suggest is adding a way to replay from the game over screen, since it took a few tries to win.
Woah, this is excellent! Really hard though, I need to try again. It reminds of Cruise for a corpse which was really hard too. I
One of my favorite games
Took a few games to get the hang of it so a restart after game over would probably be helpful
Considering that's my only issue, you guys did a great job! :)
Really nice idea, concept and humor. Audio and Puzzles are a bit odd suddenly, but nicely done! Keep it up!
Haha! Best use of the theme I've seen so far. Ghost duck! Who'd have thought.
I found some of the stuff you had to so was very unintuitive, but I guess that's how these kind of point and click games are. It was hard to find the items in some of the rooms too.

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
