Excellent. One of them most polished games I'v played so far. Loved the art and the paralax scrolling. The story and art changes made me play the simple mechanic to the end. I agree with simon, twitter is for hipsters :P
Great flair. The music and art were fantastic.
I had a lot of fun.
Great game. The graphics were nice, the audio was funny, the music was great and the theme was met. Good job!
Sweet music and a really cute Nessie too!
If I had to give some advice, I think increasing her mobility would make the game more fun. Moving up and down was painfully slow in some places, and it was a little annoying to have to stop whenever you attack. It might make the game easier, but I think in this kind of game the main joy is in the destruction you can cause.
"Ooooh, I'm gonna die!" made my game. Long nice game. The scenario is a good point!
Nice references!
The game is a bit lacking gameplay, there's nothing challanging there.
But...
I laughed my ass off! The audio is hilarious, and the music really great! I also played it till the end, so good job on this one! If only it gave the player more challenge it would be awesome game. :)
Thanks!
Amazing music! The momentum of Nessie and trying to line up your head is pretty annoying, but otherwise really awesome game.
Fantastic job! The game was fun, easy to control and very funny. Usually I like to leave some critical feedback to help people improve, but I've got nothing, so excellent work.
The sound effects were great! Had fun launching the various boats into the air
great graphics, great atmosphere, overall fun! I liked the use of sounds and music. could use a little more challenging elements, for example a bit more different boat behaviours? also I would recommend for the next gamejam to make a game which doesnt need to be installed, because it's annoying when you play a lot of games. good work!
Loved the game, got a little tired but just had to push through to see what was next :D
great game, good music, decent graphics. a few tips are controls won't always respond, very easy, doesn't seem like you can fail.
Fun game with pretty nice graphics! Do the guys you throw up ever come down again? ;)
I like the nessie face. This is funny but may be quickly repetitive
I don't think I have much to add. This was fantastic. Loved the pixel art, the music, the sound effects. Hilarious.
It's really easy though, there's not much of a challenge.
I'm on a quest to check out all the Nessie games out there, since we made one too. This is the funniest and most fun yet.
love it! everything goes well to gether you guys got a real talent!
another nessie game! seems a few of us went for this theme and it's great to see how different they all play. I had a lot of fun with this one, charming graphics, amusing voice acting and great music. the controls could be a little unresponsive at times and it wasn't too clear what affected your health bar (which I didn't even spot at first), but overall this is a fun entry with lots of nice touches like the waves and the outro etc. great work!
This is a great entry. Nessie is an under used character, and this was a great use. The death animations are hilarious, just spinning away like that. I also like the intro/outro sliding into and away from the game area. Lots of fun, awesome job.

All-around good game. Played through every level and loved the sound effects.

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
Hahaha, the audio in this game is hilarious. I also laughed out loud when I saw the potato boat.
The difficulty spike is pretty sudden with the mine boats; I was thinking that the game was too easy right before that level and then it suddenly got difficult. So maybe the pacing was actually just right after all?
Anyway, super fun launching guys into orbit.
