Omg this was the cutest game ever! I wish there were more levels!
It just opens up and says "File Error" on windows 7 64 bit.
I really enjoyed this, the art is brilliant, the music fits really nicely, a little more variety in gameplay would have been nice but I guess that's what happens when you only have so much time.
I can't overstate how much I liked the audio and graphics.
Slightly hard to figure out how to make the monster walk,
(I ended up just spam clicking around him and that usually worked) might have just been a bug for me.
Great graphics, it's nice to play a game where the goal isn't about killing people when you're the monster :P
It took me a little bit to figure out how to play this game. I quickly figured out clicking the mouse did something, but I couldn't figure out how to move the monstaaaaar... until he ran off the cliff and got killed by an angry mob. 8/10, would jump off cliff again
IGN mocking aside, I liked the music and how the game flowed. The concept was pretty simple, but it worked out I wanted to know more about the monstaaaaar.... why did he like mushrooms so much? Did the angry mob just want to destroy him because he was eating their mushroom crop? Does he have a monstaaaaar wife? The possibilities are endless :)
Great work! Simple and easy to play, plus the 50s monster movie theme was well done.
I am SOOOO tired right now :) I will try to make more levels for you guys soon. Sorry to hear that it crashes :( I´ll see what I can do. Have a good night everyone! z z z z z z
I really liked this. I wish there were more levels! Great graphics, very interesting design and game play. Super unique. I only wish that there was a button to make the monster go before the timer ended.
Very cool, like Lemmings meets Canabalt. I liked the portal mechanic, definitely has promise.
Worked fine in Arch Linux WINE. Didn't hear any audio, though.
I didn't realize at first that the monster would run automatically when the timer ran out.
Solid entry. Love the gameplay concept, only thing I'd work on a bit more is controls - sometimes the cursor just skips some tiles when you're drawing fast. Didn't reflect it in the scores of course, but, imo, a game with a time limit should respond good enough on high speeds. Everything else is really nice though, great job guys.
Nice idea and execution, loved every single aspect of it, yet the music. I would have gone for something less upbeat and more tropical.
A little too easy but I think if it were given more time for development it could be very cool. Audio and graphics are nice.
Really fun to play, quite hard for me but i love the monster animations :D
This game was a little short. The focus seemed to be more on the art than the overall mechanics and game play.
It was a solid game but would have loved it to be longer.

Graphics is great! Gameplay is also really funny yet simple, nice job!
Thx everyone here. I will be away for a couple of days now. But LD#33 was really, really fun! @pixelgriffin: Click on the BUTTON "Monstaaaar run!" on the bottom of the screen to start the Monster!
Very interesting concept, a little bit of Kirby and Pipe Mania. Loved the music and gameplay once I got the hang of it. You should keep working on it, I want MOOOOAAAR levels!
Reminds me a bit of my own game in concept, but I love your execution. Plus, it runs really well :-)
Love the premise, and like everyone else I find the art and music perfect. I wish you'd had time for some more elaborate puzzles to keep me going.
Hey this game is great!
I love the pixel art you made!
And the gameplay easy and enjoayble! Well done! ;D
Nice graphics, cool music and good concept. I wish there were more levels but I am also wondering how the game mechanics can offer some challenge and variety. A good game with lot of potential.
Nice game! My only regret is that it was too short... I really liked the art style.
I really loved the concept, I'd like to see more levels :P And I'd take off the controls from the cursor keys, that's a bit misleading. :) It took me a while to realize that I should wait for the timer.
Very nice! I really liked the concept or defining the path for the monster, plus the graphics and music and the humorous touches.
Great job! :)
I love the sprites and the monster design. He looks so frantic!
Hey everyone! Thx so far for your comments & input! When the judgeing time is over i will try to create MOAAAAR levels for you. (Now it would distort the LudumDare thought, so I will wait one more week)

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
Holy cow this was well done. it also works very well with WINE on linux
