Really like it! Controls were quite hard to get, but idea is cool. I think that it would be great to make everything smaller, so you can see all map.
The game it's to complicated for me haha. It's has a great art and a good idea. I really like the robot design. Good job!
Nice game! The idea behind the mechanic is great, but a little too hard to make it work..
But, in the overall, is a greta game! Well done! :D
Wow your tuto page is like a brain killer :)
But I think it's necessary.
Nice concept :) really hard to manage my both hands in the same time, and tough time understanding the whole mechanics.
Anyway, it's a great concept idea :)
Great graphics and presentation. A little too text heavy at the beginning and even after reading it all, I was confused. hard to pick up but once you "Get it" it is good fun. Great work.
Nice entry, it is a bit complicated, but the theme was used pretty well, also the art is nice.
When I tried opening it on my mac it says "The application can't be opened" ...
Awesome! Entertaining! Magical! These 3 words are the first ones which came on my mind when I played the game you've developed. Keep going!
This is great!
The game offers some non-standard mechanics and decent challenge and is really fun to play. Loved the visual style and the sound as well.
Took a while to get used to mixing genes and watching out for the aliens but it was totally worth it!
What's the lose condition for this game? I play for a while and there is no health bar or anything and suddenly it says "Biological cleanse not achieved" and I have to start over.
Anyway, I like the graphics and concept. It's crazy how many different aliens and weapons you made in that short amound of time.
@simon.parzer there is health indeed, but it's hidden to the player, so you can focus on survive, rather on checking your remaining health.
Thank you, and everyone else who liked our game!
Interesting game! Lacks a bit of feedback and the crafting feels weird at times. However, the variety was good and the graphics were good too (: Well done! Once you get the hang of it it's fun to play.
I really liked this game! The concept id definitvely quite unique and the graphics are amazing. With some more time, you could make the controls a bit more intuitive, but other than that, the game was really nice!
Very nice game ! Really like the concept and the graphics , Well done ! :)
Wow, that's cool! One thing: the font in the beginning is a bit hard to read (at least in fullscreen).
Nice entry!
This is a very polished game, in all aspects. Graphics are top notch, sound is well designed and both interface and controls are great. However, it's a bit hard to figure out the mechanics, and I think it'd be great to have some sort of level progression to guide the player a bit. Other than that, a great start!
Cool, original idea and very good graphic style. Congrats! :D
The crafting ammo part is interesting, but in my opinion the controls required for each section make it unnecessarily convoluted. Also, the intro and tutorial screens are a bit painful on the eye due to the colour contrast and text density.
This was great! Can't believe you made it in only 40 hours.
Very original concept! A bit difficult to understand, but very cool. Graphics and audio are great!
I like the mechanics, graphics & sound. It's just that it's hard when you have to choose the right genes, learn what ammo does what and avoid enemies all at the same time. Perhaps a description of what each ammo does, and how much damage it does to the aliens, would make it easier.
The game concept is great but a bit confusing and hard to use, but when you get used to is pretty cool. Congratulations for you game.

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
Nice concept. Got a little confused with what I was selecting with the right hand, but with on each run it got easier.
