chromenopePSA: As of Chrome 42 (Released April 14th), NPAPI plugins are disabled by default! That means Unity Player, Java, and Silverlight games will not work in the Chrome browser! That said, Flash in the Chrome browser continues to work fine (PPAPI).

To Developers: Consider using HTML5 and WebGL instead. Having troubles with the export? Don’t worry. See Ports below.

To Players: A workaround is to enable NPAPI plugins in your Chrome settings. Click or Copy+Paste this URL in to a tab:

As of September 2015 however, this option will no longer be available.

Other browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari) and Flash are unaffected, but FWIW there is no Unity Player or Silverlight for Linux.X

I managed to get to the 3rd room, but have no idea what to do after that. Could you possibly post some controls and/or directions.

Did not rate.

One of my favourite entries! Certainly the best looking I've seen so far, and I really like the Metroidvania-feel to the gameplay. Well done! :)

This is quite polished. Nice work. Though, I got stuck in one of the blue doors. I was 'kissing' through a button and stopped right inside of the door and couldn't get out. Nevertheless, this is definitively one of the better entries.

Looks and feels really good. It is smooth to play. I couldn't work out how to kiss though (Space didn't work) so I didn't know how to get past the spikes. Would have loved to though

I worked it out. Went right to begin with, instead of left. Also, you appear to be able to jump once you've died

I managed to get two powers of love. Saving at checkpoints are helpful but they are way too many :p. Good work!

It's a shame I'm terrible at platforming, I couldn't make it to the end! The concept is cute though, and it's a pleasant little game.

I thought that was a great little platformer. Good controls / player response and some simple but effective puzzles. I had no idea where I was going, mind... Nice one.

So when I tried playing yesterday, the game started me in a completely different section of the map. It was a section that required a few of the powers to complete, so that's why I didn't get very far. I have no idea what could have caused the issue.

Anyway, I just played it (starting at the correct spot), and loved it. Excellent level design and fun gameplay. One of my favorites.

This was SO COOL! This is very well polished, the graphics, audio and main mechanic were great. There were a couple of glitches with previously killed enemies staying upon respawn but over all the best game I have played so far! Amazing job!!

Damn this game is good! The controls are super-tight and the art and sound really make it come alive. The level layouts are great, too. So many nice touches, like the room transitions, the varying sizes, and the way you bring us back through the same room three times on our journey to give a sense of continuity.

The first time I played I skipped the first powerup, thinking it was a hazard. I got all the way to the long jump that requires kissing (the room with text) before I couldn't proceed. I also couldn't backtrack.

It was super-tricky to get there in that state because I couldn't kill enemies so I had to lure them onto all the triggers alive, and prop doors open with my head to make the timing. I guess you could say I got the extra-tough puzzle version!

Normally I would call it a session at that point rather than repeat, but the game was so good I wanted to see more so I restarted and beat the game.

I love these action platform exploration type games. This was very well polished and everything worked well.

A couple small things that I found.

There were a couple times where I would fall through one of the down doorways and onto some spikes. It's a little cheap but not a big deal because there was a checkpoint right at the top. But the problem is that the screen transition (which is a cool effect) never catches up to where I died, so I never saw where the spikes were. So I was forced to just repeatedly jump to my death until I happened to find the platform. This happened at two different points in the game.

When I hold up I didn't bounce any higher on the enemies. It means that to cross that one spike section with the button in the middle I had to repeatedly die to get the enemies to spawn and fill it up with their bodies to cross. It worked, but probably not what you intended :)

Outstanding entry! Well designed and quite a bit of fun.
I got stuck after getting the reflect power; the shooter enemy fell onto the button but the door only opened briefly.
Despite not being able to see the whole game I was very impressed by it all, especially the sprites and the overlay effects, made everything really cohesive.

Wow, I was not ready for this one. I'm blown away, that was incredibly well done. I went to go vote just now and assumed this would have been a jam entry, can't believe it's compo. The viewport resizing for different areas was SO cool! You've got quite the talent, keep it up. I know this game will do well, hope you win at least a category!

cool game.
some bugs (I got stuck by a blue wall on a re-spawn point, I crossed the floor) but the presentation of the rooms is really cool!
(just: first play, I avoid the big red thing until I had to "kiss" while jumping, and I realized that I didn't know kissing... It looks more like an enemy than a power-up...)

Awesome metroidvania style game! I loved the polished graphics and effects as well as the pretty flawless gameplay. It glitched a little from time to time, but that didn't take away from the overall experience. I really enjoyed this one, even though I had to scroll up and down in my browser on some screens. Great job overall!

Your Source link is broken. Could you fix it,please? I'd love to check out the source files for this game as you've done some really cool effects in Construct that i'd like to try in my next game.

Also, your game is great! I don't really have anything to say about improving it that't not a nitpick.

Mini Submission FAQ

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.

CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.

If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.

CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.

CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.

MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs ( and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
