To Developers: Consider using HTML5 and WebGL instead. Having troubles with the export? Don’t worry. See Ports below.
To Players: A workaround is to enable NPAPI plugins in your Chrome settings. Click or Copy+Paste this URL in to a tab:
As of September 2015 however, this option will no longer be available.
Other browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari) and Flash are unaffected, but FWIW there is no Unity Player or Silverlight for Linux.X
UPDATE:
Thanks for all the fantastic feedback, I really appreciate it :)
With the theme being 'An Unconventional Weapon' I went into the Compo thinking about using words as weapon, after a small brainstorming session I figured I wanted to make a typing RPG. In the end I decided an RPG would require too much art so I went with this idea as I already had the ground work built.
Hope you enjoy, and would love to hear your feedback.
NOTE
----
Some people are having some issues with the HTML5 build from unity, seems like it crashes sometimes on load. If you get an error and refreshing doesn't fix it, please let me know what the error is so I can look into it thanks.
UPDATE 1: Looks like it could be a Chrome on Linux and Mac issue, Firefox seems to fix the issue for some. Will try to fix the bug ASAP.
UPDATE 2: Attempted to fix the issue, Not sure if it's fixed but I haven't had any reports of it being broken.

How to play
-----------
Type The keywords on screen using your keyboard.
Controls: Keyboard
Explanation
-----------
There are 10 levels see if you can type your way to the end. I have beaten it, but it might take a try or two for your first time. Also the coolest part of my game is losing, just so you know.
UPDATE 1: Hopefully Fixed the bug were the chat bubble lasts too long and blocks your view from what to type. Also added some words to the dictionary and reduced the difficulty. (which, with the new words, should even out the difficulty as it was before)

Wow! Was almost tired enough to give up when I finished the 10th wave. Very clever concept, it looks fantastic. One minor problem I had was the text from the townsfolk covers up the words to by typed if they get too close, but I still survived! :)
Very cool entry, had fun with this one! Graphics were great, and the music fit perfectly.
The only problem I had is when you hesitate even a bit, it sends your command, which might make you lose progress. Had it submit "Lightn" a couple times, then I had to start over :P
Pretty fun game, im a bit of a slow typist though haha. Sometimes the enemies word gets lost behind the speech bubble though.
Woot! I got victory! Lightning kept tripping me up though, oy. Neat idea and well executed. I wish it were infinite though :)
I found this very fun. One problem I had was with the WebGL player, by default the attack messages will cover up the enemies, but I was able to fix it by going fullscreen. A bit more variety couldn't hurt, but then again I only got to wave 6.
i actually really enjoyed this game, well done! the UI wouldnt display correctly when i typed things though....
Very fun! Great graphics and a nice tune too. Unfortunately, it's a little too easy: because the amount of words in the game is so low, it's quite easy to beat by just spamming the same word over and over again, and repeating that for every type of monster on the screen. It's much easier to type "Burn Burn Burn" than to type "Burn Ember Candle" -- too bad!
I am a terrible typer! I would be of no use in this scenario. That flash and screen shake effect is pretty neat.
I got angry and my dumb, slow fingers. "Lightning" is so hard to type under pressure! Nice game.
The text from the town covers the keywords sometimes, other than that though, I loved it. I always liked typing games, though you should've jumbled the words more.
Rather than freeze all the time, go for blizzard, tempest, get your fingers off of the 'f' key.

Yay! I got victory with no terrors on my very first playthrough!
Then I played it again to see the lovely little pleas for help from the townspeople. ;)
I have a feeling this game would be extremely challenging for a lot of people I know, who can't touch-type. Hunt-and-peck won't exactly work here! I'll bet you could program macros to type the words in for you, though - then you could just hit one key to type them in. ;)
Would make a nice diversion as part of a larger typing tutor / typing practice app.
Seems pretty solid, and it's a fun/cute game. Good use of the theme, too. Nice job!
Haha, great idea. I almost did something similar, but decided against it, and I'm glad I did because this is much better than anything I could have done. Great mood and humor too! Why no combos for the same word of multiple foes? Loved the game, nice job.
I never realized "lightning" was so hard to type before. Great entry. Quite fun.
Nifty little typing game, made it to wave 10 with no hits :D Could do with a bit more words in the dictionary, felt odd typing 'burn' so many times, and the speech bubble covers up the names too :p Side from that, pretty cool!
Totally unconventional! Well made! My only one problem was writing the name of a spell when the name of the mob is hidden by the "Oh god why?" message box. ! :o) But it's my fault >.<
Great game! I like the graphics style a lot, it has a nice colour palette.
One thing that I did find frustrating about the typing, though, is how the textbox is completely cleared when you make a mistake.
Cool Typing Game. Very innovative Idea to combine this with strategy genre.
Great experience!
I really liked the visual feedback, graphics and mechanic.
Great connection with the theme, simple mechanics and very fun to play! I liked different types of enemies as well.
Awesome little game you've made there. It's nice to see I'm not the only one considering words as unconventional weapons! Our implementations are very different, but I think yours was much better than my own. Good job! :D
Great work! This was really fun and charming. I'd love to see this a larger post-compo version with multiple difficulty levels, since the game takes a while to ramp up.
Yay! I beat the game on first try with no monsters coming through- But I was kinda glad the game ended there because I was getting fatigued :P - I felt challenged and I had great fun. I restarted the game afterwards just to experience loosing, I like the "comments" from the people :P
The graphics were really nice, all in all I really liked this game a lot :) Good job!
Absolutely love it, great concept. Educational and fun. Love the graphics.
Creative Idea.
It's like Type of the Dead or what's it called. For Dreamcast!
This was nice, I don't usually like typing games due to dyslexia, but this was ok. I died pretty fast though. :P
Very cool. The comments that appears covers up words sometimes though.
Excellent idea and the whole game has a really neat mood. I was dreadful at it though... :)
Makes me want to play Typing of the Dead again. Fun game, and nice style too. Would have like to see more variety with the words, but I understand you were trying to create a theme with the different enemy types.

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
Victory!
Nice one man! great for practicing my z's :)
