GREAT CONCEPT! I found it hard to decide whether to jump or switch lanes, and sometimes found I would need to jump and then I'd hit something before I landed. Everything worked for me though! :) It just needs some obstacle generation balancing. It could be cool to have very unique moments that using the origami would be a good idea. Reall I just think the main thing missing from this is clear distinction from the different elements. The concept is there, and the words at the beginning got me immersed a little. :)
I liked the idea, it was pretty unique. The jumping could require some tuning, but otherwise, it's a nice game!
Awesome concept, but controls were pretty stiff :/. Anyway Still funny little game.
The idea is awesome! I would love to see this polished into a final product, would definitely pay for a game with this concept!
Pretty fun! I liked the graphics too, no need to call 'em questionable!
The idea is fun, but the game is really hard and the jump feels like the game takes place on the moon.
You're probably aware of the bugs, so overall pretty fun game, and innovative for sure. A bit dense with the obstacles, but i dug the music and the graphics. The whole thing flowed nicely.
I like the concept but the controls are a little bit odd.
Also it is really hard to dodge the obstacles because they are often in two or three lanes at the same time!
Good entry but I think that it is too overloaded especially when you are a first time player. The lack of a tutorial makes it pretty hard.
I love the idea and the way we make origamis. But i think it is a bit difficult, needs a player thats thinks fast, and this is not me! :D Graphs are good too, I loved! Needs some polishment on menu. Great job!
It was pretty fun, but the controls are quite stiff. If the controls were more fluid, it would definately improve the game.
Remember to "post" your scores in comments. 11/10 humor. Good Job!
its a cool idea, but the hazard spawner hates all human life and wants to make us suffer :)
This game was so hard, my best score was -1100! Perhaps fewer obstacles would have been a bit easier. Still there were some really good points. I think the mini game with the arrows was cool and could be expanded upon, plus overall it was an original and interesting idea
I was dying and at my last breath I ran to the old lady talking on the phone. I said, "please". She said, "no ninjas". I was smacked in the head and I died
My score was 200.
Liked the idea, but it felt really hard to control. Even though I was jumping and dodging, and shooting, I was still hitting a BUNCH of stuff. I did really like the music, and using mail as an origami weapon was neat!
Very interesting idea, but kinda confusing at first. It was hard to know upfront what could be destroyed or not. Very cool interpretation of theme! Who don't like Ninjas? haha
really well done. i love the art and the gameplay was smooth. felt like a really well done game.
I like the general idea of this, it's pretty original. However, it seemed next to impossible to avoid the obstacles and making the origami brings the action to a complete halt. The graphics looked good though!
i like the idea but the controls suboptimal and more feedback in the game would have been great. loved the concept though, something worth working further on!
like the origami making part, pretty fun~! but when we're in the bottom lane the obstacle is just the car passing through, and the top and mid lane are full of stuff, which make it unbalance. it would be a nicer game if there's a balancing part. Keep ut the good work~!
I have to say the same thing as siryakko: "Nice and hardcore"
Nice concept and quite difficult game ! Maybe too difficult... But cool game anywayz :D
Love the origami mechanic - pressing the correct key combo in the limited time was really fun, and the satisfying key press sounds made for a really nice player experience. Would be nice to incorporate that into the game somehow, instead of having it be a separate menu - maybe having time slow down but still being able to see the main game.
Not sure if this is supposed to happen, but if you destroy the car, it doesn't come back and you can just stay in the bottom lane.
Really nice pixel art and music too. Great job!
I got a high score of 400.
It was an interesting concept but it was confusing how you actually delivered the letters. I liked the origami creation mini game! Controls felt rigid and poorly explained. Overall great work!
The jump took some getting used to because it seemed a bit delayed, but I loved all the art and the concept was good.
Enjoyed the idea.
Needs tightening up and tweaking, to make it flow better.
Interesting concept. I found the placement of obstacles to be a bit random, but overall it's not a bad 'sidescrolling endless runner'.
Just run on the road the entire time. That seems to be the way to go. :P
Pretty goofy and a little unorthodox: I wish the weapon usage was simpler and not so jarring relative to the rest of the gameplay. But its still a really neat idea and I definitely like the weapon making sequence even if it is quite out of place. With a little tweaking, maybe you could streamline it? Nice entry all the same.
Really difficult game, but I love the concept and the mood!

Mini Submission FAQ
TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
CAN I ENTER BOTH EVENTS?: You should pick 1 event, whichever you think it’ll do better in. If the idea is strong, and everything plays well enough, you can go Compo. If you’re a perfectionist, and would prefer people to play a more polished game, do the Jam. Historically, more games are entered in the Compo, but with more people and more time, Jam games have the potential to be better (that doesn’t mean they are). Many solo participants do enter the Jam.
If you made 2 games, unfortunately, the website doesn’t support multiple submissions per user. To submit your 2nd game, you will have to make a 2nd account. Only do this if you made 2 games. Alternatively, if one game is better than the other, then consider just entering the better game.
CAN I KEEP WORKING UNTIL THE DEADLINE?: Yes! Immediately after the 48 or 72 hours, we do something called Submission Hour. As the name suggests, it’s an extra hour for you to package, upload, and submit your games. If there were catastrophic issues trying submitting your game, or you misunderstood how submissions work, that’s okay. It happens. We’re flexible. If you need advice, check with the folks on IRC. If you need an admin, get in touch.
CAN I KEEP WORKING ON MY GAME?: Oh definitely! You should! But for the sake of judging, keep the Compo or Jam version around. You can include a link to the Post-Compo/Post-Jam version of your game on your games page, but sure your main links are the original version.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate at least 20 games to improve your visibility (Coolness).
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crashes, win condition, or tiny bugs after the deadline. In a sense, this is like “porting” to support more players. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just fixing mistakes you should have caught had you been better rested.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
Loved the art, thought the weapon was pretty unconventional. It seemed like it was nearly impossible though, I kept getting obstacles in both lanes at the same time, made it quite hard! Great game though :D
