A good ol' (Vegas standard rules*) game of Cold Snap™:
* Spot the snowmen to progress.
* Click the cloth to shuffle.
* Clear some space with bombs.
Findin' glyphs in a sea of unicode - just like your gramps used to play.

Very relaxing music.
The game graphics and effects are nicely well polished.
The game starts to be very hard after 40☃, cards expand on the whole screen and that's a real challenge to find the ☃ to progress to the next level.
The game mecanisms are various and interesting: the bomb (I wish they was more!), remove a card (useful to see under it but becomes long after ~40☃), swap the z-index of cards to maybe a chance to see ☃ (worth it after 40☃),...
Cheers
Thanks! (also, z-index changes when you click on the background, but costs you $$$ ;)
Cool "Where is Waldo"-esque game. Could be great with a bit more polish.
Cool concept! Damn, that snowman is everywhere in this Ludum Dare!! :DD
Liked this a lot anyway, it was really relaxing!^^
Simple enough, okayish for killing time. Not much else to say :D
Yeah, this is secretly just a browser-based stress test: how goods your 'puter/browser? I get up to 50+ on my mac before slowdowns - interestingly, Firefox handles things better than Chrome... those guys are gettin' good recently.
I like the music + sound :)
Nice game idea. Not my type of game. But nonetheless good work :)
Very addictive game, I spent some time on it already. I love score games.
After 45 you start losing money, you must have luck. I got 50 snowmen with 2700 moneys.
I couldn't find more - http://i.snag.gy/IJNCG.jpg
Anyway I really enjoyed the game. I appreciate things the other commentators listed. Game is really polished and even though it's just "find a wally", you put inside many additional mechanism (cash, bombs, etc). Only one thing I don't understand: why standard cards gives me mainly +1$, but sometimes I loose 20$. Which one does it?
This a very nice game, simple and elegant. Nice soundtrack too. Goodjob!
I started playing without reading any instructions and I thought it was just going to be as simple as finding the snowman but there was a lot more too it then I thought there was going to be and it was a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to playing it again in a second now I know all the rules. I like the strategy element I like the fact that you don't actually ever lose and it's up to you to quit when the going is good. Just like real gambling. The graphics and sound were good, and the whole thing was polished. The performance got bad after level 40 for me. You can cheat by clicking the cash out button just to pause it and still continue to look for the snowman.
Fun and innovative ++ for using JS and making it easier to play :)
Fun game! I Included it in part 19 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/hTIxzyGfxwg

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
