Collect, fight, keep track of yourself and don't fall! (But do it anyway, it's fun...)
The goal is to survive as long as possible by avoiding disappearing rooms and collecting upgrades to fight off the never ending snowmen. Killing snowmen gives you a chance to find a teleportation scroll which can be VERY useful when you find yourself stranded on a slowly disappearing room.
As the game continues, it will be harder and harder to keep track of yourself. I guess that's why you shouldn't put everything on one screen eh?
This is a two-man project created by XekeDeath and SeriousCreeper. Both of us are programmers and not artists, so we are quite happy how the animations and overall look turned out!
All of this has been livestreamed on our channels:
twitch.tv/seriouscreeper
twitch.tv/xekedeath
Controls:
WASD/Arrow keys to move
R to check where you are
T to teleport if you have any teleportation scrolls
M to toggle Music
N to toggle SFX
Good luck and we hope you enjoy!
Post your highscores! (SeriousCreepers is about 8:30...)

Really cool world. The character and menu animations look awesome. I like the minimalist world design and the camera works really well. The r button is a nifty solution to getting oriented. At first I didn't realize I had to wait for the world to expand so I would die trying to explore. But exploring the world makes perfect sense as it gets larger.
Super great! Very fun and cute! I wish the combat had been just a bit more actiony!
This is my new favorite so far. I got 10670. I wish there were a few more teleports for when you're totally stuck.
Well done, felt super polished and I dig the use of the theme
I really like your interpretation of the theme and the mood. It all works very well together. Cool game!
HAHA! I loved this! Great use of theme and music. Really cool idea.
I really liked this! It fits the theme very well, looks great (that is better than programmer art!) and plays well! Excellent entry.
I see why you implemented a "over here" button, without that it would have been hard to navigate once you used the teleport function! Overall sweet game, clever implementation of the theme, and overall interesting gameplay. great entry!
Good game all around, I found some of the sound effects cute but some like the death sound was a bit... kitsch. In general though good use of the theme, good music and mostly good sound effects, with original game mechanics.
Great use of the theme and really innovative! The art was very nice and the music was pretty silly haha! It was a lot of fun trying to escape the disappearing rooms and pretty tough to kill the snowmen. Great game with a lot of polish! Fantastic job!
I'm genuinely shocked that more entries don't have a button the player can press to locate their character like they can in this game. So many games this jam take place in a zoomed out perspective where it can be easy to loose track of where you are (this game being no exception), but this is the first I've seen somebody actually bothering to implement an easy locator function. Good work, team.
There were some times where I would get trapped and teleport would not help me out. Liked the idea for the game and the combat with snowmen ☃.
Pretty clever use o the theme, fun to play, well balanced, pretty graphics... Well, the whole package!
Amazing job, guys!
I want to play a full version of this. WORK ON IT.

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
I really like where you went with the theme!
