Good idea. It's a little tedious to click blocks one by one though. Hope I can drag through them.
Clever. An alternate input method I would have liked is to let the user click and drag the piece from "Current" to the board. (You'd have to let them rotate first, of course)
Thanks Raincole.
I didn't have enough time to add dragging. But, sure, I'll add it
@Dokidoki
Yea, interesting idea. But I think dragging system works better if I add.
Great. I loved it. One of the games I could just continue playing. Great tetris spin off
This is a really clever idea and a lot of fun -- I'd definitely get this on my ipad and phone if you ported it. Dragging, like others have suggested, would be much appreciated.
Quite fun, a nice take on a tetris-style game! Could definitely see myself playing something like this on my phone a lot :)
Sirtet... ah. I get it. Clever. Very fun game! I'm surprised I haven't seen this concept before. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
172 so far( ended it early because I need to review more games xD ),
very nice game! really enjoyed it :-)
Really cool game, and it works well... until I got to a point where I couldn't place it anywhere. need a reset button I would think.
The concept is awesome! Really well done. The only thing that I'd change is that it's awkward having to click each individual square to make the shapes. A click and drag interface would be nice.
Really cool. Much less stressful than regular Tetris. I actually like the feel of "drawing" the blocks.
Thanks @Crafting4U. Thanks @Sharp911 me2 :p .... @devshawn I'll port it for iOS and Android as soon as possible. and I'll add dragging for sure. @jfreax Thank dude/// @madlee I'll do that for u :D .... @ben_pxlplz I made it because I haven't seen this idea and I thought it could be fun. Thanx dude. @Vulture Tamer, My highscore is +700 :D
@Fanttum...
You didn't see "Game Over" and "try again btn" in bottom right?
Dude :D look at there
@MrSun, @Plauk,
I'll add it as soon as possible.
Thanks for your comments
Great idea. So simple, but I don't think anyone would have ever thought of it.
I got 73 points my first play.
@JayCee23
Thanks man, try harder. My highscore is + 700! :D
@internetspaulicy
It's a mobile game btw ;)
I like this game because it's an interesting twist on Tetris. My one suggestion would be to make the game more dynamic (powerups etc) - something to keep it interesting to the player :)
@AGausmann,
Thanks for ur comment. Actually I thought about some different modes like time challenging and etc. I think it would be interesting.
cool idea to create something like this where graphics do not really matter
Super fun, and I'm not a puzzle game fan (or care much for tetris...I know *gasp*) but I have to say, I could easily play this for hours, specially if it have a sweet soundtrack
@ENDESGA
Let me see ur highscore :D
@Stechas
Thanks. Really I don't care about graohics :p
This idea worked way better than i thought it would! But it would be better if you could drag draw blocks, and maybe have rotated versions of the object count too.
@Quarterflip
Yup. I just didn't have enough time to add another control system like dragging. tx man :)
@karlipoppins
Thanx dude :D
@woodecker
It will be on the phones soon. :D
@OriginalOldMan, For me it is. :p
@JohnGalt
Thanx dude
Cool tetromino game! Just fix the shape fitting algorithm that determines game over and you're golden!
@justinnooncx
Thanks man :D
@wandersenus
Thank you for your comment
@lisac
I'm working on it
Tetris without the action, would be a great time-waster on mobile when you're doing something else on and off.
This is by far the most fun game I've played so far, very addictive. I agree, would make a great mobile game. Get on that OP before someone steals it! I think the ability to de-select a block would be nice unless i missed it?
@KedumeBits Thanks for ur comment dude :)
//@Bogden Thanx man
//@seledorn I'll make it for you :D
//@onilink Thans :b
@Groydis and was it an engeener comment?
//@GreenyUk I'm working on mobile version right now. I'm trying to change it to a drawing system
At first I thought that it was just an other tetris clone. After playing it for a bit I realized there's a lot of depth to it, maybe even more than the original tetris! This is now my favourite entry, well done!
Great twist on tetris! Realy fun, got a score of 169. Keep up the good work.
Fun game, nice twist on Tetris. It'd be nice if you could hold the mouse down and drag over the tiles you want to select, but that's just a really minor thing. I'd definitely get the mobile version - I'll keep an eye out for it!
@Pantelis Thanks man for your comment.
@NuSan Oh cool if it was ur first try :p
@wooltech I just fixed the control system. Now I think it's better. Thank you for your comment dude
@Hatsome Yeah sure, I'm working on it now and it will be available for smartphone very soon.
Excellent idea! It makes Tetris even greater. Those damn tetriminos are able to make many puzzle games work better somehow :D
Quite a nice idea, could be improved with allowing any rotation but pretty polished for 48 hours.
Did you consider putting a huge "BEWARE: GAME IS ADDICTIVE"-warning? ;)
I surely haven't seen this kind of interpretation (or whatever you call it) of Tetris before! :)
[Score: 60]
Oh man, this is a pro game. Simple but original game play, the UI is nice, and the strategy is easy to understand but takes skill to master. Well done.
VERY FUN, and I liked the way you gave silly messages to acknowledge the progress
Really clever way of using the tetris idea. I like it a lot!
Funny how, even in backwards tetris, you still want the long piece :)
Reminds me of a game I used to play on Android, but yours is actually better made, congrats ! :)
This is genius. It's such a simple twist on the famous game, and it totally works in so many ways and it's as addictive as the original. Please make it into a fully polished mobile game and see if it gets big, because I see so much potential with this. Simple and perfect. 5/5!!
Fun little game. Would definitely work on the mobile platform.
Really fun. I thought that the random element of the game was maybe too much, it was sort of hard to prepare for future decisions, when you're essentially flipping a coin as to whether an upcoming block would be an I block or an L block or what have you. Maybe a longer lookahead?
If we could even see the next 2 blocks that would make the dynamic of the game more strategic.
My high score was 297
Really cool game!
Give mine a try, http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-31/?action=preview&uid=44154
@pjimmy Thank man.
@ViliX64 Thank you for ur comment.
@Insality ;) gg
@MaesK Yea they could :D
@callumW You couldn't rotate? you can buddy. you can draw anyway you want.
@Wakka The game loves u too :D
@sam101 Thank you man
@Lolwned I'm making the mobike version now
@SneManden LOL Sorry but we are kind of drug dealers by games :D
@Luminar Thank you so much for your comment

@harley77 ooooh, i hope so :D @Double Zero One Zero :) Thankkkkks
@Hellequin My pleasure
@tudd OHHHH, Exactly. the red color I neeeeeed u :D @Belvar hmmm. Thanx
@yodamaster I'm making it for iOS and Android.
@rabbit It's the chance. like life!!

@Cheshyr Thanx
@Dreii Yup :D
@KunoNoOni it works for sure
@tppr2046 Thank you
@brogrammers yea I'm addicted now :D
@specedoubt Thank you :)
@Antworks Studio Thank buddy
@StackAttack Thank you for your comment. Actually I don't want to change the Tetris concept. In Tetris u can not guess as well. It was not like this before, I just changed the randomization system as the others suggested. btw I think the chance is neccery in this game. Thanks a lot for the comment.
@Ozcr I couldn't play ur game on web. I'll try another platform dude :)
Whoa! Very interesting opposing/tetris game. I like this concept. Thx ++
Really nice and innovative. I would love android version of this.
Loved this. One of my favourites so far. Very clever, simple, clean and addictive.
I actually REALLY enjoyed this! Will probably play it more later.
Really nice take on tetris! I'm always sceptical when it comes to tetris-style games, but this is really good!
Awesome idea! I think it still had some bugs, but was still great!
Very cool Tetris version ;-)
Was addictive and fun - well done!
I wanna see it on mobile.
...but maybe some different kind of control?!
Scored 46. This game is awesome! Who would've thought that a reversed tetris would be this fun! Very good job, very innovative - I'm impressed!
What a cool take on Tetris, I don't really have any criticism to level at it, since every feature worked quite intuitively.
Simple and at the same time challenging puzzle. Liked it! Good job.
Brilliant idea! One of the oldest games turned upside down! Well done!
What an idea, i can't even belive i haven't seen something like this before. Great and enjoyable execution. As the original, it is freaking adictive. Is also funny to see how "similar" strategies can be used :)
A very fun game, I didn't do well, high score of 70 or so, but I really liked the idea.
A lot of fun in a surprisingly simple package... Great work :)
Awesome variation on a classic game. It definitely made me think about where to place each piece. Very simple, but very effective design!
This is great! 779 highscore! I was able to get out of situations where I thought I was going to meet my doom. I think it had a lot to do with luck. My only criticism is that the game doesn't allow you to take much risk. I would love to have some high risk/high reward mechanic. But the balance seemed to be up to the random generator.
Really really fun!
Game is neat, but the sounds like busted my speakers. Whatever my fault :)
OMG this is awesome. I love tetris and this is the best modification of the original I've seen! very ingenious.
Not bad, interesting take on tetris, innovative, -1 theme as blocks are brought in from outside the 'one screen'
@BaneStar007
Blocks are gonna be hidden and shown. not from "outside"!
Fun e very interesting! I've played a lot since yesterday
This is awesome! I spent way too much time playing this instead of working.
Excellent Excellent game!
Cool concept, great controls - really makes you rethink the Tetris formula.
I have never hated those S and Z pieces more :)
Awesome twist on tetris!!! I'd like to see this one on my phone!!!
Innovative take on the Tetris genre! The game was fun and I thought that it fit the theme well! I think that the game would be improved with a larger board, though the game was well thought through! Merry Christmas!
@oskardevelopment Merry Christmas to u buddy.
I cannot change the size because it's the smallest tiles I could design for 3:2 screen devices. It's gonna be a mobile game btw.
thanks for ur comment.
This is really simple, but satisfying and fun. I could see this being a great little iPhone game.
Ohhhh now this is a gem for sure. Put this on the app stores ASAP before you get cloned.
I'm quite a fan of tetris and quite often see tetronimos everywhere, that matchs wuite well with what I like to do, I enjoyed it, congrats ^^
Hi there, I'm so sorry you found my game while I was getting the servers online again! I'm gonna play pretty often, so if I'm not on just try and catch me on twitter (@Mach60KAS). Thanks for the patience! :)
Good game. I ended with a board that should've given me a game over and didn't.
Amazing game! Graphics and sound were just right. Love the design.
What a brilliant take on the Tetris formula! It's one of those things that makes me say "I can't believe no one's thought of this before", so kudos for being the one to think of it! One thing I would really really like is the ability to click on my current piece to rotate it so I can better visualize which tiles I want to click.
@flyingbear...
Thank you so much for your comment and your idea.
I'm gonna add the feature u said now
I just wanted to play tetris-like puzzle game without time pressure... Oh you did exactly such thing! :)
It was good with areas that could have been improved. Not much originality.
Interesting puzzle, however, the idea is not original. I am not sure if you are aware of this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gO0en7iaHWc
@drnick
I haven't seen this before. btw, the game is a bit different. the lines in my game are fixed and something like that.
Thank you for ur comment :)
Really solid - seems like there may be a few bugs with some shapes, but great concept!
Pretty cool little take on the idea. It was really fun, but lacked the "urgency" of the others. That may be intentional, though. Good work! Thanks!
very nice concept!
It's unbelievable that we didn't meet this kind of gameplay before!
Cool how you created a new kind of game by reversing the mechanics of some existing game. Cool game, might even be more fitting to the modern generation than the original one.
Very good simple idea. At first I didn't realize, that I could use any possible orientation, but knowing that now, it is really fun! Great job :)
Nice idea! A new vision of Tetris :) I miss a bigger screen though, I loose very often full of unfilled gaps. But I might be bad playing it :P Anyway, quite good overall!
Wow, I took really long at this.
The first game I've seen at it's kind!
And at first I though I was to fill as much space as possible, but then after getting 7 and re-trying, a layer cleared when filled! :D
Great, and thanks you very much for making a game in this Ludum Dare! All stars! :D
Really great concept, quite innovative, and fun too! Graphics and sound worked together nicely, very cohesive. Nicely done!
as a recovering Tetris addict, I was happy to find this game, although I did come across a few minor flaws.
1) The "current" block should probably be above the "next" block, because that's how the majority of tetris games represent their incoming block lists and it's fairly unintuitive to have them flipped.
2) The difficulty curve is, as far as I can tell, nonexistent. Even something as simple as introducing a basic time limit that grows more demanding as the player progresses would make this game a lot better. At the moment, though, placing your first block really feels no different from placing your hundredth block, because the challenge never grows.
This is the best game I've played so for for LD31. Clever & Fun.
This is great, and super addicting. The control scheme is really interesting, and though simple dragging and spinning would probably be best, I respect the creativity. Nice work!
Great game! Took me a while to get what it was, but then it clicked. Very interesting take on Tetris. :)
Super slick little game. I can definitely understand how this game got 9k plays in two days on Kongregate. The basic idea is so simple and elegant and intuitive, it all just pretty much works together. The mechanic of getting a bonus line for turning all lines "on" was not indicated or taught at all, so you could probably do a better job of calling that out. I think you could also change that mechanic to be a little more apparent but just having it be a bonus multiplier or the like. I was disappointed to hear that you added sound and changed the controls post-compo. You should really have kept the original submission available and given a post compo version link as well. For sure try to make this into something as it fits to well into the mobile space! Really, just an awesome job!
Innovative reimagination of tetris. very fun to play :)
You could add a time limit to set each piece, to make it more challenging.
I stopped at 101, but I guess I could spend hours trying to make way better. It's a very clever Tetris derivative, I'm impressed how you managed to make something so new and different with a so known and over-copied concept. Very good job !
Pretty darn close to perfect. Want a bigger grid. Maybe that's just me!
Simple, addictive game. The best. Transform classical in a new concept. You could play even in a notebook with pencil and eraser.
I got so addicted. I can't stop playing. I just wish I could play it on my iOS D:
really nice game, I am really enjoying it, its really addictive, I got it on my phone :) my best is about 100 right now but I just start playing.
great job, I think this is a game that would actually sell if improved.
I think adding game modes to this would actually help improving,here's whats on my mind
classic: plays exactly like this
puzzle: randomly generated start up
adventure: power use(like clearing one tile or bunch)+Timer (its easier but you cant play for ever you have to be rally fast to get high scores)
Once this game hits the online marketplace with some really polished graphics, audio and effects it's really going to take off. It needs a little bit more of tutorial instruction just as you start it off, as I initially had no idea I could turn the blocks around, and I wasn't quite sure what the flashing line meant overall -- that and some leaderboards -- but that's all it really needs, aside from some really well-developed graphics and sparkly player feedback. :)
Definitely something that needs lots of attention post-LD. :D This is one of those games that you get really addicted to as you get phenomenally good at it!
Very innovative take on tetris! I'd have loved some music, but the sounds you did have suited the game nicely. Great job! :)
Really clever twist on tetris. All it needs is a catchy tune haha. My best was 34.
Would make a good mobile game.
Great game, high rated for innovation, i did not know it was possible to innovate here (in tetris like games) :D ... congratulations
Very cool, my high score was 117. Pretty fun, interesting to see how it changes the game. I wonder if other shapes would be good as well?
Pretty fun and addictive twist on a very familiar game and well implemented as well.
Great spin on a familiar idea. If you put a lot of work into the UI it could be great for mobile. Maybe some more game modes (ie time pressure?) as well
Really nice game. The play was fun and interesting and it was easily replayable.
