OhYeah! is a an action-packet commentary on christmas in the form of a bullet hell. Avoid Santa's lazers while picking up gifts and earning points.

You control the character with the arrow keys

The idea behind the game was to first of all make something fun an intense, while also using the gameplay as a metaphor. Christmas becomes more and more stressful the older you get, and you think less and less about gifts.

Thanks lisac. I don't think I've opted out of voting, but I am participating in the "jam" and not in the "compo". Since a friend of mine made the music I'm not allowed in the compo unfortunately. :(

This game is amazing! The slow motion effect is really cool! Adds a lot of excitement. The bullets are small enough to dodge and the characters look so well done! Animations and textures are quite good. Love it!

Love this one! Simple idea, but implemented really well. Controls and movement are excellent.

Yeah man. The slowmo when bullets come near you is something realy cool. Might want to look into something like that in the future. Made the game feel way more energetic

Very addictive! The sound effects, sharp controls and the bullet-time dodging make this very satisfying to play. I feel that not restarting the music each time would help with the flow state, but other than that, I can't think of anything to suggest.

Hahaha, nice! Badass Santa Bullet Hell. Such an addicting game. I really love those animations, especially the spinning one. Great remix of Sugar Plum Fairy as well. I scored 32000 in the end.

A fun little game, very well polished. The movement feels good, especially the time slowing effect. Graphics a very good as is audio. One small suggestion: Make a "Best Score so far" to encourage players to try again and top their previous highscore. Good job overall!

A pretty funny opening, with Santa trash-talking at me. I also appreciate the metaphor! As other have said the slow-mo effect when you're close to the bullets is great. It really ties the movement together and feels cool every time it happens

The time dilation effect was sweet, although it got irksome when going in and out of it very quickly. Putting a cooldown on it might help with this.

Quite addictive fast play game, enjoyed the graphics and the time slowdown worked really well. Highest score I got was 19,250.

That was simple, fun, addicting, and awfully silly. I played quite a few times. It felt nicely polished, and the time dilation was a excellent choice.

My main gripe is that I was hoping there would be a bit more variety... it got really hard, really fast. Overall, a very nice LD entry.

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.

MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
