There he goes. My first video game ever. Goodbye, sweetie! Be nice and make friends! I'll miiisss yyooouuu...
Anywho, it's called "Chad Brags" and it's about a guy named Chad who brags. The more he brags, the bigger his head gets. But the restaurant that he and his friends (?) are sitting at isn't big enough for giant heads, so you, the aforementioned "friends", must slow him down by saying the right stuff. You won't stop his inflating cranium from crushing everything and everyone, but you may be able to slow it down...
Please criticize me hard! I made an Axl Rose-sized amount of mistakes in this process, so any criticism will be much appreciated! Also, three cheers for the people who run this Ludum Dare thing; it's super fun and some of the games that people have made are blowing my gosh darn mind.

Had to download the files and compile it myself, but aside from that, it was a really great game!
Was this really your first attempt? o.O
Ok, being picky!
Getting the game to run was tricky. I had to download the unity file, then the html file, then make sure they were both in the same folder and run the HTML. Do you have somewhere you could host it?
50MB seems really large to me.
I wasn't sure if my choices were making any difference. Maybe if Chad's head shrunk down in a noticeable way it would make the players feel like they were accomplishing something.
I really liked the whole idea and the graphics. The stories were great and I really liked how the options went along with whatever Chad was talking about.
Plenty fun and great job!
Sorry about the download issues and thanks for playing everyone! And thanks billrizer for the tip, that fixed it.
Well that was....Interesting.
Also, I had no issues loading the game through the dropbox link, FYI
Cute game! The only thing I would say is that I never got any positive or negative feedback for my choices. I couldn't really tell if I was making any kind of difference. It would be nice if it was winnable too :).
funny and well done; would be nice if you could win, though.
Did you make the audio? it's really good!
I wish you were ranking on humor. It was quite hilarious to see chad'd head get bigger and bigger talking like an idiot!
I agree with Grindstorm! Also, my timer continues after Chad has won. ;-)
I really like the graphics and conversation snippets :-D
A little hard to tell what to do - none of the options I tried in two playthroughs seemed to reduce or slow, or even speed up, the swelling. Great humor though!
Let me just say that this is one of the more... interesting games I've tried. I found it really funny. I am not sure if your choices matter at all? Maybe it is a statement about the futility of breaking down another's ego or something? No idea.
If your choices do matter, then I respectfully suggest you think about the feedback your game gives to the players. How would you clearly keep the player informed on what is happening? Anyway, that's my criticism. Apart from that, great work!
Neat concept. I played it a couple of times, and it was hard to tell if the choices were really slowing him down or not.
Pretty neat idea. Would like to see this polished (:
I think Chad is douchebag, so it would be nice to make a "Slap in the face" button
Fun idea. I know some people like Chad.
I try few times, but can't find a way to win.

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
