Your space station has been overrun by space bugs and out-of-control space bots! You'd totally be up to the challenge of kicking them out, but...well, you spent a bit too much money on Monolith Burgers so you could only afford an old, second-hand space suit that's so clunky, you can't jump in it. But luckily you're in space where gravity is a fickle thing, prone to change at the flick of a wrist!
Change the gravity and land on top of the enemies to destroy them. Land on several in a row without touching the ground (or ceiling, I guess) to start a combo and get more points! Rack up a high score and become the best space thingies destroyer space person! SPACE!
**UPDATE**
If you're having trouble with the space bots (the enemies that are affected by gravity) here's a tip: They are lighter than you and thus fall slower. Try flipping the gravity, then flipping it again while you are in midair; that should get you in a good position to stomp them! I know they are tricky, but I wanted the game to be hard to evoke the feeling of old arcade games ;)
Thanks to all of you taking the time to play my game!

Cool graphics and cool logo. The whole game revolving around one simple idea makes it very strong. The Difficulty level is quite high but I like the challenge!
Those mushroom doodads that are affected by gravity are the worst! Agh!
Really nice little game. Cool palette and music. I still couldnt understand though, how can one reliably get rid of (or get past) one-wheel machine-looking thingies :)
Neat GB style. Interesting gameplay that requires some gaming skills (I like hard games). Music are ok.
Neat game. Clean Game Boy graphics. There is something missing, though. Switching gravity and stomping enemies seems to lack impact. Animations, especially on the rebound, would go a long way. I also kept wanting a jump button for defense. But those are more nitpicks and polish. Good job.
Nice gameplay, great art. Very well done. And the palette reminds of the old good days ;D
The game mechanics works great, though the game starts off a bit too difficult. Plus for retro style!
Lovely graphics, and the controls were well done! I wish the mob affected by gravity fell faster than he did, and the music was a little too high pitched.
Nice, single-screen VVVVVV. Great feel thanks to graphics and responsive controls!
Nice graphics and good execution.
Could use a "retry" shortcut.
Good work:)
Very nice. Top score 470. Wish I would't have to use mouse to restart.
At first I was disappointed because I thought it was just gonna be a VVVVVV clone. But! then you introduced all these interesting mechanics that seem painfully obvious with the core gravity flipping mechanic. This turned out to be very awesome ^_^!
That was fun :)
There doesn't seem to be much substance to it, but for a quick time waster and high score hunt it's really cool. I loved trying for the combos, getting high ones felt really satisfying ^^
Nice graphics and audio. I liked the mechanics, but for me this is too hard right from the start. I really did not like the space bots, I would have never understood how to beat them without the explanation.
Cool game, i liked the style of graphics there. And yeah that mushrooms is so.. harmful
Very nice graphics and super fun gameplay. Very smooth and fluid!
Great game ! I love these DMG-style graphics ! Keep up the good work :)
Awman! This game is crazy addicting. Among the most fun games I've played so far. Beautiful graphics, love thos small bugs wandering about. And it started getting really fun once I got into the flow of it. My final score was 3090, but I'm gonna beat that for sure. Also, good use of the theme. Amazing job, man [:
Fun, creative little game. I enjoyed the Gameboy-esque graphics! The mushroom enemies were very tough though!
The gravity switch has been done before but the concept of getting a combo really makes it different. It's a little hard tho :)
I really like the look and feel of the game. Nice work!
Space bots are hard, I manage to stomp one after reading your tip but then two other spawned right away and I like oh well, I am dead :D.
Simple not really innovative idea but with great execution. I liked it! The difficulty level is bit high at the start but once I get used to it was ok. Nice graphics too :-) Good job
Super cool concept and very simple and easy to pickup and learn. Nice job on the tutorial, something I need to learn about...
Wow, great job on this entry! Pixel art is beautiful, gameplay is unique and challenging. Can't think of any negatives but only did a quick play through. So simple but good. Excellent work.
Really gret retro looking game. Simple mechanics that were easy but hard to master. Excellent.
I really like the graphics and the combo system you have going for the gravity stomps! Really cool music too. Great entry!
Great little title! A tad difficult on how to figure out the gravity effected enemies though. Good job!
It should be faster to get to retry, like just press space and be back in the real game part.
It was a lot of fun trying to stay not touching ground or ceiling but hitting enemies.
Maybe it could do without the lateral movement and turn into a "change the gravity to help this little guy" instead, but I don't know, maybe that would turn it into a different game altogether.
Nice game, good job!
Love the graphics for this one. I am always a big fan of Gameboy palette and the sprites are very good. The concept reminds me a lot of VVVVVV, but with more a survival and point-gathering twist. The only part I found irritating were the enemies that would flip when you would. I found it very difficult to decide whether I was above or below them, which led to some quick deaths. Maybe these enemies could have fallen faster to give the player some time to place themselves above it. Overall, I really liked the graphics and the concept!
I absolutely love the retro Game Boy style! The mechanic is fun but I kept getting killed by the enemies that is also affected by gravity :/
Awesome looking graphics. Even though this was a gravity switch game, you put some things in there that were original (like the spikes). Great job!
Pretty nice entry!! I love the game boy palette! The graphics are great! It's fun to play! Great job!
I love how I can combo by flipping gravity quickly to avoid touching the ground!
Clever mechanic, if somewhat tricky to master. I like the old-school GameBoy graphics - they suit the game down to the ground.
Really cool art style, proper theme usage. Best score 760. Cool gameplay, a bit hard sometimes because of these bots flying at the same gravity time - but then I discover the multiple flip in mid air (before reading your hint - would spare a lot of time) and really loved it. The combo is the killer features of this game and it really adds lots of fun to the gameplay. Overall a simple and fun game, congrats!
Nice game ! Really good graphics. :) Though I don't know how to get rid of that gravity-affected thing. x)
A hard game, but I like it! I liked how you could combo for more points. I loved how the tutorial worked- Simply, to the point, and the player controlled the speed of it -AND it was skipable! good job.
This is good! Innovative and funny and all that. Wish there was more of a learning curve though, like different stages, starting with just the bugs and successively adding the other elements after 20ish seconds, allowing you to get used to everything before having to deal with all the dangers of space. Still really cool, I like the look and the overly minimalistic background melody. :)
The controls are a little hard, but you have a really nice game
congratulations <o/
Pretty fun! Kinda Metal Storm-ish (that's a real compliment ;) ).I feel like it needs some sort of structure, though, like...levels? That's how I would do it, I guess. Also, you need to assign some key to "Retry", so we don't have to keep going back and forth between mouse and keyboard all the time. Good work, though!
Lovely art here, the gameboy aesthetic works pretty well. It's a bit hard, and a bit annoying that you can't restart quickly. Cool stuff though, very polished.
Challenging but fun. I like the retro Gameboy-esque graphics. Nice little game.
I like how the mechanics are simple but yet the 'combat' is complex! Quite neat! =D
Also addicting! Good job!
One of the funnest entries I've seen so far. My high score was 800. However, having to use the mouse to retry was annoying. As a rule, if a game uses keyboard controls, you should never have the menu be navigated with the mouse. Also, I wish you could use the spikes to your advantage. I tried using them to stop the space bots mid air but it didn't work. I think this would make the spikes contribute to the gameplay more instead of basically just being a border.

I really liked the way the graphics were done! The whole game feels fluid and responsive because of 'em.
