Cryo Storm

This is One Room Productions go at Ludum Dare 31 - Jam.

Goal: Save cryogenic frozen Hanzbola. In the yellow room.

Controls: WASD To move

mouse point direction to aim,

LMB - shoot

RMB - rockets ( use full screen to use func)

Oh man, took me a while to figure out the start button thing. I actually really dig the camera angle/control scheme. The background music is pretty groovy too.

I like the game and especially the laser particle impact effect. However when I die and start the game again no enemies appear in wave 2+ so that's boring. The waves just keep counting up.

Great graphics. The top down view is very cool, but the game was cut in my screen. I would be good to have some indications of where to go. It's a bit hard to tell. Good experience though. :D

Camera movement is a nice touch, but it's super hard to see where you are and where you're going.

Loved this game. After game ending if you hit start button again one enemy spawns and then non after that. I waited until lvl 8 and nothing. So I reloaded it and played again. Love the ship!

I didn't like the camera movement inside the game, it made me a little sea sick I think, RMB (in web player) open a context menu - I have no idea if that can be avoided tho. Other than the little sickness pretty great game :D

the graphics are great, especially the explosion effects.

the game bugged out for me. a couple enemies spawned in wave one, then they disappeared. waves 2, 3, 4...up until 8 happened, but no enemies spawned during the waves.

Nice game, couple of things, the play button at the start wasn't very responsive, worked after a while. Also, after restarting after being killed the wave of enemies didn't seem to come. Other than those minor technical issues, its a solid game with great audio and graphics.

El botón de inicio resistente. Pero después de acabar con él empezó la verdadera diversión. Muy bueno juego para el tiempo en que se hizo.

Wow, great polish on a simple idea. Nice map, nice camera movement, lots of cool little features. A bit buggy in places but hey this is Ludum Dare. Lovely loading screen too :)

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.

MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs ( and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
