I have to admit that I never saw the aliens coming...
Nice quick fun. Nice music too. The iceberg sinking as more things pile up is a good one.
Interesting mechanics of sinking iceberg under high weight. Cute penguins you got there and... what?! Aliens, I didn't see that coming hahaha. I also liked the time flow seen from the sky.
Yup, the aliens were quite a surprise. It felt like the difficulty was quite suddenly increased, but the fact that you could hit things that were already on your iceberg made it much easier.
I would recommend mouse controls first, and then maybe changing the difficulty ramping and the fact that you can destroy what already landed.
I like the little details like the snowballs flying in an arc and the passage of time. Also, aliens :D Nice music too!
Very repetitive game but funny graphics and nice ambiance (parallax scrolls are great ;))
This is a really great game and developed from scratch! You guys rock!
The music was quite cool for setting the mood, however pressing Space quickly became hard on my wrist lol. Still a fun game, it could've used a third enemy type maybe.
This game becomes insane after a while, no? :P
autoshot! please, its a must! hhahaha
Nice idea :)
Nice little game. Lost to the second round of aliens. If you kill a bunch on your lil' iceberg fast enough, you can seem to lift yourself out of the water, though :P
Can't play it. I had Java uninstalled since it was the source of quite a few hacks in the past. Sorry, looked interesting
Well, as a Linux user I couldn't let a game with penguins escape without a test.
Penguins Can't Fly is a fairly simple but yet entertaining game in which you can shot everything that moves. AND I LIKE THAT.
Just spam my canon, try to get these aliens out of my sky. It become more and more challenging as times goes. Speaking about time,
the nice touch is that day and night mood.
I just regret not having some scores to compare my runs.
Haha very funny twist with the enemies. Holding Space to shoot with a short timer between shots would have helped, but fun game!
I wonder if you could add a gameplay mechanic like you can build defences with the snow coming back down.
Yay this was fun. The scenery + night/day cycle was pretty to look at whilst destroying waves of falling things!
I love penguins and I love this game. Its a shame I had to snowball cannon other penguins to survive, but I guess it's just a penguin eat penguin world out there :-/
I was not expecting UFOs, that was a nice, humorous touch. It was pretty generic, it didn't feel like there was a whole lot going on, but towards the end it did get pretty hectic. The controls were responsive, but the graphics were a little rough, and there wasn't a lot of feedback about what was going on. It took me until the second wave of penguins (level 5?) to realize how the iceberg even worked.
I wish i could see a line telling me where my shots would go...also i liked the penguins!
So there I was killing penguins, then suddenly aliens. Great job!
Glad to see people actually employing time immersion (day night cycle is cool), did not expect the aliens!
The game is very lovely!
The mechanism is clear and easy, but I am a bit confuse why penguins have to kill penguins; when alien comes it makes sense a bit, but I would say if alien successfully come to your platform, they should move towards you and kill you if you ignore them. Currently to me its like you just need to "defend" the small area on top of the penguin, and ignore the other ones.
The background change and the penguin is really lovely, good job!
The website isn't loading for me at the moment. I'll come back and try later!
i absolutleyl love ths game, my nephew named Trey just lves pengins, and evrtme he plys dis game, he cri cause pengin cnt fly but dey is swm butt dey drwn butt he lizten to de moozic evry nite. I LOVE THS GAME
Oh, a neat parallax scrolling effect! And funny game overall, well done. Just two things: 1. the contrast was a little slow, was difficult at times to see the snowballs against the partially white background and 2. the water didn't quite match the graphical style of the rest of the game. Anyway, other than that quite cool, great music, day night shift and everything, and Aliens?! Got to about 200 kills I think, hope I didn't miss out on anything coming after that.
Really cute game!
The enemies look really nice. Especially the penguins :)
The palallax scrolling isn't very noticable, but looks really great on the open snow plains! The mountains move a bit jerky, but its a very nice detail.
The sound is really fitting and relaxing. However, I would have chosen a more action packed music, since its an action game.
All in all great work!
Really fun entry. I like how the iceberg sinks the more objects are on it and the aliens appearing was a bit of a nice surprise.
It's a nice simple idea and really fun. The music and changing sky adds a lot of atmosphere and the alien invasion is pretty unexpected. It would be a good idea to save your scores.
It was good to see the passage of time and the parallax scrolling was very well done too. The game gets very frantic once you've disposed of the first wave of aliens!

I loved this game. It was funny.
I love the shooting stuff out of the sky. Nice game. =D
