Wow that was hard, a bit too fast for me I think - need time to learn the associations
I had trouble figuring out which character was which, or which countered which. The characters are all fairly similar looking, and the counter graph is difficult to read in a hurry.
Hard and fun! Too difficult for me to remember the associations.
Thanks for the game!
Takes a long time to load.
And I'm stuck in the loadings...
First time at 88% second time at 83%
Cool art, but it takes time to memorize what is strong against what. Coincidentally, my entry also heavily feature this kind of things :)).
Nice graphics.
Took me a while to understand the concept and it is hard to quickly glance at the graphics to see what beats what. but good
Amazing visuals! Very hard until you remember who can kill whom after a couple of runs. No sounds / music?
Interesting concept, I didn't understand that the first scene was the rock, paper, scissors instructions. Catchy music remix there though
Rock-paper-scissors defence! :)
Like the idea.
Nice to see a cocos2d-js game, I'm using the same engine. :)
cutandreil, Interface, my website is in china, I think the network is a problem.
At first I didn't understand that you could still change your buddies after you've selected your first, which was a bit confusing. Could've missed something, not sure. Furthermore it's a really interesting concept (: Not exactly my type of game but I could see this work! Could use a bit smoother gameplay. The bacground also feels a bit awkward. Furthermore good job!
I really like the ideas, keep my from stopping play this game. So difficult to win one even when I can remember all of them without checking anymore. Good job
You really wanted the snowman to win the theme, didn't you? ;)
Unfortunately it seems like I encountered a bug. I was not able to change the unit type in the middle and bottom slot.
The art is nice, but the character types look to similar for my taste.
Great game :D.
Nice way to implement game based on paper-rock-scissor ;).
Cool game! Associations are pretty easy to learn.
I noticed a little bug - only left bottom parts of buttons react to clicks (around 60% width/height of visual button), so it sometimes irritates to click them few times when you need quickly switch buddy.
Anyway, awesome entry :)
Graphics are good, and the game idea is quite cool, but I found it a overwhelming. You should try to add some difficulty progression. When the game starts there should be only one guy coming at once, give the player some time to learn the game before bombarding him with hundreds of enemies. But besides that a very good idea
@Headmade, I don't want snowman. because the date is Dec 7, close to christmas, so I select this theme.
How does your game fit the theme better then mine?
Anyways I love the character art a lot. There isn't much weight to the feedback and the game play isn't very engaging.
This was a really interesting game. I think you should definitely develop this concept post-comp. As you've seen with other comments, definitely work on the controls. With the spawn rate on both side, you need really smooth controls for switching. Clicking the pictures doesn't cut it. I was even saying in my head, "black reindeer, brown yellow, purple santa" and the game was still incredibly difficult. The other option is allowing the player to change the pictures with keyboard and click to spawn the guy. You could still have the same spawn delay as before, but at least the player wouldn't be killed by a spawn occurring while they are switching pictures.
Nice graphics and rock/paper/scissors-like concept! Great rendition of Jingle Bells too :3
Take a look at my game too if you have time :)

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Some pretty neat graphics and an interesting concept, though I felt smoothness in gameplay was lacking.
