A swarm of bugs has started to cause a bit of a ruckus on the screen door and you are caught right in the middle of it. One player will assume control of the swatter, doing your best to swat all of the bugs off of the screen. The other player takes control of one of the big bugs in attempt to eat all of the smaller bugs and protect the reputation of bugs everywhere.

Oh neat, a multi user game! I played with a co-worker. Pretty neat game. I also love your interpretation of the word 'screen'.
Good little game, had fun with it playing with another at school.
Not bad, the speed of the swatter was slightly annoying, though it probably just takes a bit of getting used to :P Will have to try it with someone else as well later!
a bit of fun two player action. probably needs more balancing though.
It took me about 10 minutes to load the unity archive from your Dropbox.
I didn't have anybody present to play a match, but I think this is great. The controls are solid for both players and I think the bugs abilities work really well to balance it out. The music tracks are great and fit the game really well. The intro screens are beautiful.
Is it purpose though that the lady spins around when it doesn't move?
I loved the grid's aesthetics, very crazy. I think the attack is a bit slow.
This was fun. It took a bunch of mashing keys to get it to move from the title screen to the pre-game menu, but after that it was good times.
Really liked to music. Wish there was a more significant screen effect when something was splatted.
Would be great with some kind of AI, cannot play solo. I mean I can but it's a bit weird :)
Nicely put together. Cohesive visuals and sound. Great job!
haha this was great! Will play this against someone at work tomorrow.
I dig the music and the spider web animations. :D
My swatter didn't seem to always work...not sure if my mouse lost focus on the window or what, but either way, very neat idea. I also love the literal use of the theme! I joked with my artist about doing something similar.
Interesting concept, I like the shared controls for multiplayer :) Good entry!
(after one hour of loading:) cool idea (remind me of mario paint) would be really fun with little balance fix.
(and avaible more bug-players would be fun too)
Sorry about the long load times! We forgot to compress our music, should be fixed now.
Not sure how the music fitted the tongue-in-cheek theme, but it was good nevertheless. V enjoyable to have separation of concerns when playing with another player.
Couldn't get the mouse click to do anything, so we couldn't really play this :(
sorry about that! it should be fixed now. make sure you clear your cache if you try again and it still doesn't work
Okay, tried again. The normal fly-killing tool works fine, the anvil only drops sometimes, so that's weird.
It is sometimes unclear who won the match, it should say it in the message. Also, it should restart with a button not used for the game, many times an endgame would feel like just a frameskip.
The mouse player can somewhat teleport if you move the mouse when the thing goes to attack, which confused the bug player a bit.
Really liked it that it's an assymetrical game and yet it's balanced. Could use some bug count so as to know how far from victory is the bug player.
Good job!
Nicely done! I think it's always hard to judge two-player games without having a second player, but I can tell that the mechanics are balanced by just kind of playing one side and then playing the other.
I've also been very pleased with the people who have interpreted "screen" this way. Nice touch.
Thanks again for playing/voting/commenting on Natquik! And congrats for getting your entry in!

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Beautiful !
We had fun playing it with my brother
