Awesome graphics and use of the theme! This is beautiful! I really like how the game is really just a show we're watching. I don't know how to deal with enemies from behind, though, I died.

Thanks for the feedback :)
To slay enemies behind you, just flip Kira with (Y) (XBox-Controller) or [W] (keyboard)

The controls were a bit difficult to master, but the graphics/art direction and the music/voiceover is really impressive! I absolutely love the direction you took the game (and the fact you took the time to give it controller support too), great job!

I really liked this game. The concept fits the theme in an original way, and the narration, sounds and graphics create an excellent mood. Just to say something, I felt the controls a bit weird (the w rotation part), but at the same time those controls helped to make me feel im controlling a puppet. Good job !

Awesome concept and presentation. One of the best voiceovers in any jam entry ever. Not sure about combat balance. Having the spitting thing appear from behind with two enemies in front sucked balls. Could work better if you'd allow player to move while blocking. Also jumping. Jumping would be good.

Battle is clunky, but cannot fault the style you went for. It is awesome to look at. I just wish controls were a litter tighter cause I love the mood.

Great unique style. Well done!

I'm so used to the avatar facing the direction of movement that the flip control was too hard for me, and I didn't finish.

Delightful concept, thanks.

The timings and mechanics were a bit of a challenge to get just right but it was a very interesting and beautiful game.

That title screen confused me a bit because it said "made with love (and unity)" so my brain initially thought "how did they mix the Lua LÖVE framework with Unity?!" xD

The art is gorgeous! The narrative and music tied it all nicely together. Fighting wasn't my favourite part of this game though... But maybe just because I died a lot..?

The art style is very interesting, I liked it a lot. This could be an awesome brawler game with some more polishing on the game mechanics, better and smarter enemies. I don't know about the theme, though, entire game on one screen?

xlash86 says ...
Dec 11, 2014 @ 12:39pm

@Caspila It's all on one screen in a shadow theater. The movement of all the elements on the screen would need some polishing, so that it would actually look like guys moving the elements.

Really liked the paper puppet show style and home made sound effects/narration. Gave it a very unique feel. Well done.

great art style and voiceover. but the fighting controlls are a bit hard. And it confuses me to get hurt by dieing enemys. Nice game. Thank you.

Super unique! You totally nailed the puppet style. Voice over was great. Controls were a bit wonky and difficult though

MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs ( and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
