Interesting idea! I like the variety in the enemies, but I found it very hard to predict where I'm going to place the box. That combined with some collision box issues made playing the game a bit hard at times. Some kind of a score would be cool, even if it was just 'time survived' :)
Very very difficult. I'm not sure I figured out how to survive properly, but I did learn to protect myself from metal spiders. I like the concept.
Interesting game.
It's a little tough, but that's what makes it so fun!
Enjoyed it, could have used some audio. Wished there was some scoring system so I knew how well I did. Also support making it bigger.
Really nice. It's easy to misplace a block, as it's hard to tell where it will land. Reeeally needs some frantic music. :D
A very nice little game, the simple spritework was cute, and defending yourself by placing blocks was a nice change to the survival formula.
Two issues I did have though, I wasn't able to figure out a way to tell the difference between missiles and the robot spiders until they appeared, and block placement is a little hard to control. This led to issues where I got myself trapped by my creations, or just wasted bricks. Perhaps a simple cursor, or snapping blocks to a grid could help?
Thanks for your comments guys. I had no time to realize all things, sounds for example. RockhopperGames, i think it`s a good idea to snapping block to a grid. I don`t, if i will do this, is this will break the LD rules?
Fun and challenging, just the way I like it. Nice minimal graphic style and lots of stuff out to kill you. I like how boxes break after a while so you can't just hole up in a corner. I had a lot of fun with it and will have some more after I'm done writing this sentence :P
About grid-snapping: This is my first LD, so I'm not sure, but I think adding grid snapping would count as an improvement and therefore be against the rules? :(
But I think if you polished this up a bit (added sound and a scoreboard and such) you could definitely publish this to a flash game site after the competition if you want!
This is really cool. All the elements fit together nicely. I liked the particle effects. Very retro.
Had to think a few times before I actually understood what was happening, but a cool concept anyway :)
Usually don't really like this kinda pixel art but this time it kinda worked for me, the mechanics could use some work but I guess that's to be expected. Good game.
The lack of audio really bring the game down. I like the idea of passively surviving by placing blocks, but it wasn't really so apparent how to get more blocks and what I was supposed to be doing. I do like the graphics though, it seems quite polished on that end.
this is an idea that deserves some post-dare development! it's too bad there's no sound, I think it could've benefited from it. Either way, good game!
Innovative game - was a little confusing as to what to do though :)
It looks like my game ;) hahahaha great work :D vey fun game :D
Nice, fun and inventive. It was way too easy too place blocks a few pixels off from the lasers and fail to block them.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Awesome game, very hard, the way game should be, didnt quite understand why I was picking the signs though.
