beheaded person steals heads

by scnoobi - Compo Entry

You just lost your head. What you do next is obvious. You try to grab as many heads as possible to satisfy your need to get the most amazing head.

Movement: wasd or arrow keys

Grabbing heads: SPACE

Opening chests: E

Mute sound: M

Made in unity.

audio: just me rambling by myself to audacity:D

graphics: SO GOOT!½

made the start screen show that you can grab heads by space.

Since a few people have said that they don't understand the cop thing(mostly because i didn't really animate the deaths)

Stuff works like this: there are cops and NPCs npcs are just randomly walking around having a fun time while the cops are policing everything.

If the cops are able to see a dead person(a guy without a head) they will alert every cop making them much faster and will arrest the player if they get close enough.

cops = red glowing thing. which flashes to blue, red if alerted.

not bad, would've been nice to have an explanation of how the police things work. Also it's hard to see the chests due to the lighting
I liked the voices ;)

Pretty cool game, although I'd add some music. :)

I think you can get an unlimited score by not grabbing any heads ever? (Actually, I just missed you could press space, I thought the only point was to grab chests for a while)

Yeah. was pressed with time. had just implemented audio and then it was submission time. wanted to not have the chests give score at all before but powerups like extra speed, more head tucking and so on. but couldn't manage it:)

but the score doesn't really do much so if you just go for chests that is fine. doesn't do much since it is just a point of measure for yourself ^^ I myself like to get as many heads as possible and score while avoid the cops to test myself:)

The gameplay was fun, and the AI was cleverly done, though. I just wish there were a bit more explanation in the game as to what was going on.

This is a pretty fun game for such a silly idea, I think escaping cops was a little too easy though.

It definitely made me laugh. :)

Interesting concept, when explained. I like that you see all the heads that you collect, it really adds to the fun. Some more self-explained visuals would have helped, but overall nice!

The controls can be a bit unwieldy and the graphics aren't very intuitive, but the mechanic is simple and well enough explained, so it's not a big deal. It's not very polished, but it's a fun(ny) challenge anyway. What can I say, running around stealing heads is silly and addicting.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs ( and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
