Hey all! Hope you all had a great Ludum Dare 31! :D
What we have here is a strange little program where you argue with the game menu. We took "Entire Game on one Screen" to mean the entire game is played on the menu screen. The game is just meant to be lighthearted quirky fun and is by no means considered brilliant or amazing by its authors. Unfortunately there wasn't a whole lot of time for us to work this weekend so what we were able to do was limited.
With that said, enjoy! This game has only been tested on Windows, but may work on Mac and Linux as well.

Im not a fan of text based games, but it was an interesting idea for the theme.
Hah, that's a new interpretation of the theme. I liked the tone, it sounded like the offspring of GlaDOS and Mr T. This game would be very hard for people without the right geek background -- then again, how many of those play text games? :)
I did cheat by looking at the code, because I wanted to see where it was going, and many of the tests are quite arbitrary and unforgiving.
Works perfectly on my Ubuntu system, for what it's worth. Just run "python main.py".
Thanks man, I appreciate that. I had GLaDOS in mind while my friend and I made this. :)
I admit it. I laughed. A lot. Thank you for this gem. Very well done, and best of luck!
Thanks man, my friend and I specifically decided to shoot for humor on this one. :D
Confirmed that the .exe doesn't run on Mac using Wine.
Played this on my desktop, love text-based stuff!
Thanks Si1ver! And I'm glad you were able to play it BtheDestroyer!
Every programmer loves putting together the occasional conversation machine. This fit the theme. I'll admit I said "Alright, I get it." outloud once or twice.
Great game, pal. I loved it a LOT!
So, I hope y'all are planning on participating in April next year, eh?

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
I love text-based games, also like that you programmed it in python
