Very stable, I like the game play because I can't see what is about to happen to me, Great job!
Love the flashlight effect, but I wish reloading was more meaningful (as of right now you can just spam it) and 5 minutes is a bit long if it's always the same kind of zombie. Couldn't click that long, my arm hurt... :)
Cool game. The rewinding time effect for when you loose was neat. Great job :)
Hard to stay alive, all on one screen, gives me the creeps. 10/10 IGN.
But really. It's a cool game, but I would like to see less zombies and more variety. How did I survive while unconscious?
Very creepy mood, especially the zombie animations! Also the zoom in/pixelation effect on death is cool
Kept me playing several rounds trying to get rescued. Loved the mood.
Very fun! I loved the flashlight effect and the zoom in/out. A bit repetitive, though.
Think this might have been a bit too difficult for me, I only lasted about 7 seconds each time! Stylistically solid though.
nice style on the graphical effects and the sound effects, really sets the zombie mood
I resembles my entry a lot. I guess we have very similar tastes. Both are javascript games where you shoot enemies that come from the sides until you die.
I really liked it, although it's pretty hard. I loved the death sound and animation. A very solid submission.
Would it be possible to see the source code?
I like the way the restart was handled. I never looked at my ammo bar since I was focused on my character.
Very well done and polished game. Very effective use of sound, really set the mood. Simple mechanics with a touch of one more try sprinkled in. I too really enjoyed the rewind effect when you chose to try again.
You should add a difficulty mode, a good challenge for trigger happy gamers and everyone a-like. + The awesome graphic style.
Very hard, couldn't stay alive for more than 20 secs!. Very good style both graphics and sounds, the game would benefit of a more gentle learning curve.
Its a neat concept. The green screen surrounding the game is a nice touch.. I dig the zoom in and out that pixelates the character. 3 minutes is sort of a long time for rescue as you cant do much but spin and shoot. Nice title overall, could use a bit more depth. Nice job.
Surprisingly addicting for such a simple game! The flashlight works perfectly here and the sounds are good, especially the pistol sound feels like there's some oomph to it.
My wrist hurts! I'm gonna sue you! So hard, man... haha
Great job!
Great game man, very good job! I like the sound design you did there
Nice game, very hard though. Great atmosphere, the sound fx and graphics complement each other.
Intense. I like the death sequence. Perhaps some dramatic music? :P
Not the most original concept but done really really well! The audio was brilliant. I stayed on the start menu longer than necessary just listening to the music. The gun fires, zombies sounds and that sound when you zoom in were all excellent. All that adds to make the game more addictive.
The graphics were brilliant. The only criticism (and i feel embarrassed to make any criticisms of your graphics when my game was just letters on a black background!) is I noticed the zombies all looked better than the main character. That kind of looked a bit plain in comparison. The game seemed very hard but I'm slowly getting better it at. I'm gonna go play it some more! Well done this was excellent.
I like this, from the source code:
this.TOTAL_GAME_TIME = 1000 * 60 * 3; // 5 minutes
Just thought it was funny :)
btw: the source isn't linked directly, but you can view it here: https://github.com/jrgrafton/ludum-jam-31/ (figured it out from the game link ;) )
Nice game! Really hard though!
Looks well polished!
Easy to understand but hard to survive.
Btw: Answered your comment ;)
Nicely polished game, and the death zoom in was sweet. Quite hard
That was horrifying. Nice take on a classic, esp liked the effects when dying and restarting. Which happened to me a lot.
Polish all round here, I love this as an LD product...though I never got more than 1.5 mins in as (at least for a laptop touchpad) the controls are just that tiny bit too unresponsive to react fast enough to what feels like a very hard core game. Love this though, well done!
really nice game. I had two issues, though. When firing, my guy would stare in the direction of the gunshot for a split second to a couple of seconds. This tiny lag blip make it difficult to play. The second issue was that the game would freeze at the restart. I was running os/x.
I didn't hold that against you because I figured it was on the mac side of things.
truly hard, cannot get under 2:49. polished graphics and audio. great work!
Nicely polished game. The pixelated game over zoom is great. If you're planning on taking it further, some variation would be great like maybe going through different weapons or having a few grenades.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Like it, I like the death sequence back to playing again. Neat.
