Sweet old school feel, even for the controls which you really need to learn in order to master the game. Nicely done!
when Moon lander meets Burning Rangers :P
hard as hell to control the ship but i liked the game :)
Original concept
Didn't catch that I cannot hit walls . Really hard
Score : 3800
Small little fun game. Love the style of the graphics and the NES vibe. It would be cool if bumping into walls would damage the ship. And the propulsion is a bit slow-ish. Good game!
I would like to return to the base to repair ship, trading time for health. Nice little game!
Thanks for your comments!
@hadesfury @Random Abductions: bumping into walls actually damages the ship! :) The faster you hit the walls, the more damage you get.
@ranseur: this feature will be implemented sooner or later!
Great little game with a nice old school feel. I like the mechanic and the urgency that you make the player feel when there's a fire. The controls could use a little tweaking, but otherwise great work.
This has become one of my favorites so far! The graphics really capture that retro-arcade-feel.
It is really satisfying to put the fire out with the lovely water-mechanic :).
The controls are hard; but in a really good way, because they are precise, and I think they reflect your skills.
One "critique": the "zone is on fire"-sound was quite annoying :b
ha ha, this game is fiendish! Those controls are a nightmare... everything is going ok, then hit a wall and I'm bouncing around like an idiot: don't change a thing! Really beautiful game.
Most of you have realized that the game is all based on the controls. Become familiar with them is crucial.
Learning how to manage them can be very rewarding. :)
Neat game! Interesting controls give the game a unique feel, but might be hard for some people to deal with.
I like the general idea of the game, but it lacks a small twist of gameplay. Something like fire that spreads or local damages on cities instead of a general health counter.
The art is nice too :)
@deepnight: So many ideas, so little time to implement them! :( This is why I decided to keep the game minimalistic. Maybe I'll add some feature in the future.
Pretty nice game. It is fun, the control is hard but not too much. The theme is cool, the score look fair. Good job. I have bump everywhere now x)
=> I've fixed the link for Windows. = o
Pretty cool idea, reminds me various Spectrum/C64 games that I can't quite think of right now. Graphics are pretty simple but they work well for this game I think. Gameplay is generally fun but it gets a bit repetitive, it'd be cool to see an extended version with some gameplay twists.
Great idea! At first I moved my ship around by firing water XDDD Then I found out I could also thrust. I love how firing water kicks the ship back, forcing you to counter it. Well done!
Nice :)
Though I died in my first try because I didn't realize that hitting the "walls" removed health.
Very hard but very well made as well. The controls are nicely responsive but they ask some time of learning to master (which is good). I got 3 times in a row a fire in the same building, maybe a semi-random fire starting would be better?
Nice graphics and audio. Game idea was really nice and fairly executed, controls are a bit of a pain though. Had a really nice feel to the game too.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Cool graphics and idea, the player movement is kinda difficult though
