This is INtire!
Several adorable goats are in trouble and it’s up to you to save them from their natural predators: giant spiders! Take control of Emma or Marcel and safely hurl the little critters to the safety of their wicker baskets while either dodging the spiders or smacking them into submission with your trusty screen door. The INtire game only gives you one screen to defend with, but it’s pretty durable so don’t worry. As you save more goats, you’ll attract more spiders. Keep an eye out for the special Golden Goat!

Jump: W
Action (throw goat/swing door): S or Space bar
Player 2 (Marcel) Controls

Amazing game, so clever. My only thoughts so far would be to maybe start off with a 1-Player or 2-Player selection screen, to make things a little more clear... And maybe some basics that explain the game step by step until the player gets a better feel for how the game works. The GUI is just a bit cluttered before the game actually starts.
Learning curve is pretty steep, and the responsiveness of the animations and actions is kind of on the sticky side, making it hard to time throwing the goats...
But the concept and execution is brilliant and hilarious. Not to mention that funny music. And it's in a tire. The intire game. Love it. Just needs a little more work.
Many nice ideas in one place, I like the inverted world that turns in a wheel, for a moment thought it is RAMA-style space station, but it is actually a wheel... Well done =)
Ugh. Another cliched entry into the over-done video game genre of "Running around a tire herding goats away from spiders into wicker-baskets"-em-ups. Come on guys. Be a little less mainstream.
Loved the art, and the music was really fitting for the game!
I had to play both characters at once so it started to get kind of confusing playing both of them haha.
The game looks great and the pun of the title made me laugh!
There is no azerty option, so I didn't play the two players mode, and the game mechanics were not addictive enough to make me want to score. :(
Congrats on the art style, please make more games with goats!
Ok graphics, and nice idea. I would like to see more organization in instructions and overall game presentation. Maybe split instructions in some form of introduction screen. There are some problems with input x visual feedback also.
Loved the graphics and quirky creativity of it all. I missed a bit tighter control scheme, as it felt a bit sluggish. Adorable goats!
Interesting, with some polish it can be fun,, i tried to eliminate spiders but they seemed invincible (almost 20 hits can't kill one). Goats were too difficult to launch correctly becasue they can't get launch high enough i think.
At my second launch of the game, all entities (player ,spider, goats) weren't on the ground but walking horizontally. It was weird.
Wow loved the art direction and the original mood here.. very amazing work in this short time of dev.. Keep going this good work !
Graphics are good and I really like the idea of a world within a tire but the gameplay is a bit of a mess.
@SoulGame You discovered debug mode. (Congrats!) I've taken it out so others aren't equally confused.
Nice pun. Seriously, decent little game, although it isn't the most gameplay heavy game this dare. Needs a better combat system, or movement, or something to make the gameplay more interesting.
Really neat aesthetic. Stupid giant spiders. :P
The concept is interesting, but the realization not so much.
Cool graphic, not a lot for the sprite, but the background is cool
+1 for helping establishing goats in the gaming industry.
Goats really need more appreciation.
The controls were a little difficult and the hitboxes on the spiders not really obvious. I always kept swinging my door and afterwards sliding into the spiders.
I really liked the artstyle though.
Wow, this game sounds quite a lot different than I imagined from the images. Visually it's got this really clean aesthetic, and then the 8-bit chiptune and goat sounds start playing haha.
I ended up liking the game, though the character's jump and goat throwing seemed a bit too floaty to me. The spider's hitboxes were also a bit unclear, since their legs reach out really far... it makes them seem much larger than they really are.
Overall nice job, it's lighthearted and pretty to look at. Good use of the theme also.
Well that was a rather surreal entry. Good take on the theme and it was pretty fun running loops around the tire Sonic style.
Awesome and hilarious! I really love the animation too, really great all around!
The concept is brilliant and perfectly matches the theme, i found the controls a little bit confusing though.
There's a lot to like here! Really funny take on the theme (first tire game I've played out of almost 50 entries!). General mood and feeling is just awesome. I did feel that with just a little more attention to animation this would have been visually excellent - really missed a jump animation. Really enjoyed the "SMACK" when swinging, but bothered that it was inverted when facing the wrong direction. Cool concept, which could play very well, although I found controls a little unresponsive and clunky. Overall a great entry though - hope to see this do well!
Really nice graphics, though I find it sort of hard to play. I Included it in part 20 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/SGfwL84KAH0

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Great graphics and cool concept, although I think you can get even more out of it! Keep working on it!
