The one in the corner is next to impossible to collect.

yeah, the collision is really unforgiving (collision boxes too big? - I too think you simply can't get the snowflake to the right and down from the starting point :( )

The game is really hard/unbeatable but the snowman animation looks really good.

The graphics look nice, and the background music is fitting for the mood of the scene. I thought the controls felt too slippery at first, but it was actually pretty easy to get adjusted to. What wasn't so easy to deal was the collision system. You don't have to touch the fire to melt from it, just be near it. That makes it less fun to play with the slippery movement, and makes some of the snowflakes seemingly impossible to get.

This is a good game. However, the snowflake near the fire at the right it is impossible to collect due to its collission. You should fix it since it is okay to fix bug after deadline.

I agree with the previous comments regarding collision detection. Felt like I was getting caught on all the walls and getting killed from fire when I was far away. I like this type of timed collection concept though and had fun.

Collision boxes are way too big. completely destroy the game experience :(

I plan on releasing a "typo bug fix" build tonight that fixes the collision boxes on the fire so you can actually beat it.

The collision is a bit off...

Nice simple game, but reminds me too much of the underwater swimming with seaweed level from the first TMNT game on NES. Aside from bringing back those haunting memories though, well done! Music fits well too.

Cute little snowman! A bit harder than expected with him sliding around like that.

Would be nice if there was a time bonus or is, there's no way to do better than 2400 (which is fairly easy to get).

- Cute graphics
- Soothing background tone
- Despite being simple, the game is actually complete. (this is really great actually, I've been playing so many broken entries, its nice to come across something that feels finished)
- Smooth controls

- The beeping sound when moving
- The hitbox of the fire (hard to tell what would count as a hit)
- Score mechanic (It should be your "score" if you didn't get all the snowflakes, and your time otherwise. I was sad when completing it with 10seconds to spare gave me no higher score than when I completed it with 6seconds to spare)

The graphics and music are nice. Short but fun, I liked it :)

yep pretty much impossible to get that one snowflake (never got it) and the controls are pretty floaty for this type of game, but the art is really nice

Small and nice. Reminded me the swimming level on TMNT on NES, somehow ^^ (I say that as a compliment, btw :p)

Love the art style and overall simplicity !

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.

MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs ( and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
