Graphics are consistent. Dual-stick doesn't work well on PC, which is why you recommended the XBOX pad. I would recommend if you could have an option to just face the direction you move in. Also, I couldn't see any evidence of damaging the enemies.
I suppose we couldve put in such a feature but I just wanted to be able to walk backwards and kill zombies infront of me. When it comes to evidence of damaging the enemies we relied 100% on sound. We will remember that next time. Thank you for your comment, kburkhart.
Thanks, floorman.
Digging on the graphics, combat is a lil' rough but once I played for a bit and got a feel for how it handles I quite enjoyed it. Good job!
Nice graphics and sounds, as said before - combat could be more fluid on keyboard, but after some time you get used to it.
Cute graphics but as someone else said, unless you have a controller the keyboard controls feels awkward :/
I try to survive. But damn pixel zombies killed me and ate my brains. Now I'm zombie too :( Nice game. I like it!
I didnt realise the keyboard controls were bad till now because I only tested it with a controller. Thanks for the feedback. Its awesome to see so many people playing our game. Thank you.
I got overrun by zombies. Great work. Autoattack if you press space would be nice.
The music is moody. The graphics are reminiscent of Sword and Sworcery / Hyper Light Drifter (a great comparison for a simple and effective style).
There is a lack of visual feedback for hitting an enemy / getting hit, though the audio does a fair job of articulating this.
Overall, good groundwork for a solid survival-based combat game. Great job!
Good effort, only the combat is a little unresponsive - as mentioned before, visual hit feedback would be nice in addition to the sound effect (like particles, or the zombie stumbling back for a moment). Visuals are cool though, I like the animations. :)

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
The game itself is a bit awkward, and combat is not as fluid as it could be (IMO). But the graphics are awesome and sounds are cool.
Nice game. =)
