Don't know why, but player starts here http://i.imgur.com/aJYqIRm.png and can't go up the shaft to the right. Going to portal does nothing other than displaying "level one complete"
I tried to realy realy play it. Facerolled my keyboard to see what happens. But I cant get pas the first two spikes. There is nothing to get me up that shaft. and entering that teleporter gets me to the Level 1 complete part and then nothing happens. Perhaps give more information in your description about controlls because alot of keys seemed to do alot of things but nothing usefull in particular.
I just keep dying but keep playing it to the point I just want to throw my computer out the window.
Not really that difficult, but gives a nice nostalgic feeling. The camera gets annoying at points because you can't see ahead very well.
Cant run the game.

Really liked the graphic effect to simulate old monitors! But... does the game match the theme? Seems like it takes place on more than one screen...
This was awesome, I especially liked the CRT style for hte graphics. Great work!
That's awesome! It's a ton of fun and VERY hard! I love the old vacuum-tube monitor look. I don't know how else to describe it but the graphics are cool.
The good CRT emulation gives me a nice feeling of nostalgia for good old games, but the game itself is quite easy.
Very cool! I love how you made it look retro, how did you do that? :D
Super hard but pretty fun. I really liked how the game looked like is was being played on an old screen. Even though the graphics weren't great that added a lot to the experience.
That's a Super Meat Boy like, with perma-death. Fans of Super Meat Boy will like this game. I'm Super Lame at that kind of game
and get frustrated very fast so I couldn't finish it, there certainly is a lot of challenge in that game.
Graphisms are nice pixel arts, there is a nice fake old tv screen effect.
The only weak point is the lack of audio content.
Well.. thats really hard. I enjoy the game alot although I got only 4 coins:( But I wouldn't rate the theme that high as i didn't feel the whole game was on the screen but otherwise fantastic effort!
Yey! I finally beat it :D I totally love that CRT effect!
Challenging level design, I would have wished for some more abilities or obstacles other than just spikes, but for what it is, it's really well done and that I played it over and over until I finally got to the end speaks for itself.
playying this right now... will comment again when i have made it xD 18:48 on my clock...
yey 18:56 made it :D wasted a lot of time by trying to jump over the spikes that were in the first gab :D is there actually a way to go there or is it just a trap? :D Nice Game :D
Perma deaths are great. SMB is one of the best games I ever played, but its so great because controls are great and responsive. Here, controls are not responsive. There should be some interia in jumping to feel the jump better.
Thank You For The Comments, These comments help me for the next Ludum Dare.
I like the screen style! Gives a nostalgic feeling of my childhood :)
Wow, really hard! But it is good!
Nice retro/CRT graphics too! Good job! =)
Man this game is hard... But since it is intended that way, I count this as a plus.
Good job! :)
Not bad. Should have named it Rage Quit Simulator. Respect to those that win.
Prety hard, nice shader. The controls feel a bit weird for me for some reason, like if there was a little delay or something.
Fun game :) although the approach to the theme was ok, playing in fullscreen only made the screen appear in one corner of the screen, leaving the rest in a black background.
How, you meant difficult. Hell yeah, it is!
But it's still fun. I love the graphic style you gave, taking on the theme.
Well done !
After really wanting people to finish my own difficult platformer I thought I'd better finish yours... and I did. :P Love the CRT screen shader thing. Gameplay is simple but a fun little challenge :)
Liked the visual style, needs some checkpoints though. It was difficult but it was fun :D
Nice rendition of a retro game. It reminds me a game called... Ehm, VVVV... something :)
Maybe the scrolling occurs a bit late.
The CRT monitor effect is really cool. Also I like that I can change the effect with W and S (although probably something you forgot to take out).
Rage inducing? Yes. Fun? Not so much.
The difficulty mostly comes from the bad scrolling camera, so that you can't see where you are going, this just makes it a game of trial and error rather than skill. And you just feel cheated when you simply die because you couldn't see what's down a pit and have to start again...
Nice graphical effects. A bit too hard for my liking though. Jumping was a little unresponsive and stiff. Good stuff though!
I actually didn't have too much trouble with this one -- the first section is the trickiest, really. The scrolling was rather an annoyance because I couldn't see what's coming up, so I had to inch forward slowly or guess. Didn't get any connection with the theme. Still, I like difficult platformers and this one hangs together...
Not a very fun game, not really original either. :/
Don't hesitate to try something more risky for another gamejam. :)

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
I lose, but does not restart. I finish the first level and the screen get stuck ...
