The computer monitor is broken, and corrupted pixels are beginning to rebel by removing all color from the screen. You are the last colored pixel, and you must fight for the right to a colored screen!

@rincewind_cz It isn't so much that I didn't focus on gamer experience as it is a bug in the code with the random chance of an enemy/pixel spawning at lower frame rates. I can fix it when I get home from work.
Rare to see a Ludum Dare game with so many settings.
You really took the theme to heart :)
Did not working on osx 10.9.5:

The OS X build doesn't work - it crashes on startup, but it's not a Java stack trace (it comes up with the OS X dialog for when an application crashes)
I've put the crashdump on pastebin - http://pastebin.com/kUge4qhv
Was there a timer that automatically damages the player, or were enemies spawning on top of the player? Other than that, great job.
I loved the game. The controls were a bit awkward at first, but I like the idea of making both hands do something different. Very fun!
Alyphen Thanks for posting the stack trace. Unfortunately, I don't have a Mac so I cannot delve further into the problem. Guess I'll just have to remove the Mac address. :/
Pretty cool, was quite exciting towards the end as the enemy spawning ramped up. Would be nice if enemies/pixels didn't spawn under you though :)
Great compo entry! Love the way damage is visualized. I must fight for the colour!
I just wish bad guys wouldn't spawn right on top of you. Still haven't beat it. :)
Pretty fun entry. I really like how the screen changes colour when you collect the pixels.
well done entry, the background effect is cool. Just the music : a little annoying on long time...
Solid game, and lots of fun! I loved the concept, although the enemies and pixels would often spawn alarmingly close to me, giving me little time to react. I like the screen coloring effect!
I collected the last pixel, the game said that I'd won for about 1/8 a second and then the window immediately closed. Possibly because I was just spamming shoot because why wouldn't I?
White pixel is cute, black ones are mad (so racist). The game is too easy though, but plays smoothly and has neat story.
I'm just wondering what Space key is doing. It looks like it refreshes window oO
@zompi
I wasn't being racist when I made the game. It's just that, when it comes to RGB pixels, black is the absence of all color while white is the presence of all color.
Also, the space key was a debugging thing I forgot to take out. It resizes the window to a different resolution.
Woow, extremly good, innovative, not too hard of a game, just the way i like it! :D
@peterthehe what was wrong with the execution? If it's because of the art, that can't really be prevented. I am definitely not known for my artistic ability.
Works fine for me! Liked the screen changing colors slowly as I collected the colors.
I like that the background color changes to correspond with the amount of each primary color you've gathered, although it took me a minute to even figure out that I was supposed to be walking over the colored tiles, it's not particularly intuitive. It's very simple, but it's a fun little game, which is enough.

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Linux build is obviously working ;-) I tried to play, but I had to turn it off after while because nothing was happening! I've collected three pixels, shoot one bad guy and then.. nothing -- for at least minute or more. Because there is music included it's more like that situation when you're calling some service and they play music back to you while you're waiting :-) So, my advice: focus more on the gamer experience next time, nobody likes to wait.
