You ran out of fuel in an asteroid field.Try to last among the asteroids until reinforcements come to rescue you. Hope you have fun shooting some mean squares!
I was sick for most of the first day, but stil learnt a lot about how not to make games this time, the whole game was basically hacked together. but this gave me a good idea for a bigger game.
Stay put @ExGenesis.

Asteroids, and I was going for a frenetic action vibe, thanks for the feedback!
It could be worked upon, but I had fun playing it (and that's the goal, right?) :)
I love the fact that you can use the gun to pick up more fuel when you run out, I though I was screwed. Fun game :)
I feel like the the code for spawning the player needs to be tweaked, I've spawned inside of the squares and died instantly too many times. I also really like the bullets sending you backwards, but I feel like dealing with that and a fuel limit might be too much. I had fun though, good job!
I liked that game forced me to focus about movement and shooting at one time.
The controls changing with the mouse direction and the recoil made me going to strange directions when near the border of the screen. Nice fast paced game though.
the game was fun shooting boxes. it fit the theme. I find it difficult finding myself once i got hit by a box. i was really tiny :D.
More of a difficulty arc would help, I think-- I finished shooting the asteroids before the end even came. The recoil from shooting was a really nice touch, made life harder sometimes and was a useful tool at others.
Thank you everyone, and WatercressStudios I agree completely, I'll be working on improving the game this weekend so stay put if you want :)
Solid game. My issue was with using the edges of the map. If I flew to the other sides I auto fly back (because my mouse switched sides). I did not really like the music for the game but I think the game itself was good.
I liked its frantic nature but found it difficult to control well and hard to find myself on the edges. I liked how you can use firing to propel yourself when the fuel runs out.
Wow, this game is difficult, I found the countrolls where slightly hard and confusing, but the rocket motion was smooth and music suits the game :)
Nice pace.
Original and interesting gameplay especially the take on the theme (the seamless world).
Very juiced game.
Nice game feel with the shake and graphics feedback, ship handles okay but seems a bit weird in place. overall pretty cool
Really great graphics / audio. It's a bit unclear at first who you control since you're so small

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
I like it, but why are you shooting squares?
And the music dosn't seem to fit.
