Remember old NES games where everything outside the screen didn't exist?
Here's the same deal: you leave the screen - you die. Not so easy with lots of enemies trying to hit you off the ledge. Have fun!
Controls: WSAD/Arrow Keys. M = mute, P/ESC = pause.

I like the nes story bit but the controls feel very off to me.
I think that you should differentiate the air from the ground though, preferably by sliding less when you're on the ground. Now it's crazy hard to control your blob and that just makes me go mad ;)
Really liked the whole "get pushed offscreen" idea.
I agree with seledorn though, the player feels slippery on the ground.
I'll agree with the previous comments, controls aren't great, but the game is still fun to play.
The idea is very good, but I think that player shouldn't slide that much, because a lot of times I died because I tried to move to another place and slipped
The pickups were nice (powerups, powerdowns). I liked having the difficulty options for the extra challenge, it also feels it speeds up / spices up the gameplay a bit.
As mentioned, the player character feels a bit floaty. But I guess that's because it makes it easier for the other units to push you around to make it challenging.
Solid and fun entry with a nice interpretation of the theme. The controls are ok, but could be snappier.
Pretty nice game ... Really good for the theme! I love the graphics well done!
Good take on the theme. The controls was a little too "unresponsive"/"slippery" for me.
Cool game, I ended with a score of 4772. I felt the player slid along too easily especially for the smaller platforms. Anyway nice job.
I liked the slipperiness. I also liked how going to high can kill the player. It's deceptively easy. I scored like 4000 points on hard mode and died, because i took it too lightly. :P
I love the power ups. "Jump Boost" shot me right off the screen and I died! Fun game!
I liked it, it's fun and a little addictive. I was concerned about it being too easy, and then I tried hard mode, haha good job.
Wow, nice take on theme! The graphics could be bit better as this style distracts me a l̶i̶t̶t̶l̶e̶ lot ;-). Movement and controls are very polished. Good job!
Clever interpretation, and really fun to boot, with good audio (especially the spawner sound effect).
Hard mode's a blast!
I like the concept. The controls are very slippery, it's hard to control and make the game frustrating, especially when trying to jump on very small platforms...
Thanks for all your nice comments! The controls are made that way so enemies could easily push you. Otherwise the game would be too easy. I mean REALLY easy!
Good framework for the idea here, it's obvious that you put a lot into making this competitive. However as a player I often felt frustrated by the controls and the lack of options. Maybe I didn't get any powerups but the reason people love double-jumps and stuff is that they give you a chance to correct a mistake. Overall this game was really punishing. But pretty nice and original I would also have to say
Nice take on the theme. Great graphics and sound. I am able to stay alive for a long time though and I am not very good at playing games. So too easy maybe?
Hi there. Love the pixel art and sounds. The animations and AI are interesting also. Didn't find much to do in the game, just stayed in one place for about 2 minutes, moved three times to avoid them I think... lots of attention required, but not much happening requiring player input. Good job!
Very nice take on the theme! Graphics are fun too. The only thing that was a bit too hard for me were the controls, as someone else already said it felt a bit too "slippery". All in all verg nicely done though!
Awesome! It's very innovative, and I loved everything about it. Those enemies are really fun, both to avoid and to shove off the platform. The power-ups are a great idea, too!
I just got over here, but congratulations on the theme ranking! Sorry I didn't play sooner!

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Great Game, The Power Ups are an awesome addition.
