IMPORTANT:
I recommend downloading the .exe instead of playing in the web player, as the game is much prettier to look at in fullscreen. (Press F4 to toggle)
Also, some people seem to get graphical glitches in the web version...
Description:
You are Light. You paint to see.
Use WASD to move, Spacebar to paint (uses up one blob of color)
Avoid touching invisible obstacles. Paint will help you see them. If you touch an obstacle you lose all your blobs of color and get points for them. If you have less than six blobs when touching an obstacle, you die.
Done in 24h using Game Maker.

Fun, but really difficult.
The graphics are pretty, but sometimes make it hard to see where the player is.
Cool game, and I would like to see how you've done it. Where is the source?
Really cool game. Very interesting concept and well executed. I would really like to see this as a finished product to play on mobile :3
I tried the web version and nothing happened when I press Space? :( I have a really hard time understanding the game. You talk about blobs of colors but it's impossible to know how many are left?
Pretty designs though but...
Very interesting concept and idea and the result is just beautiful.
Could be a very ambient experience with some background music.
Really beautiful game. The mechanic with the paint and the hidden blocks is really cool too. I think it's maybe a bit too hard (or maybe I'm just rubbish at it :)
I really love the graphics and the idea is very original and interesting!
I found it very hard also, I understood how to paint but had a really hard time to guess where the obstacles were anyway, and I didn't really understood this thing with the number of blobs, but that's probably my bad. Maybe there was some kind of visual indicator of it that I missed
Fantastic compo entry! At first I didn't understand it, but once it clicked, I realized its brilliance. The game gets more fun the more you play it, and I'm really interested in seeing a more fleshed out version of this, with different levels and mechanics.
Music could also be cool, each color you leave behind be a different track, and the more of that color that's on the screen, the louder that track is (so it starts to fade out when it gets erased). So you could have a drum track, guitar, etc. Just my two cents. :P
awesome, thought the counter in the top left confused me, I kept trying to collect them
Interesting idea and well executed. Sound would have added a lot, I think.
Neat game, although difficult. Having some music/sound with definitely create the experience.
I'm not very sure what was I supposed to do, but the art style is amazing :) Nicely done.
Hi there. Shame no sounds. Found it a bit tricky to work out where things were, so ended up crawling around. Lovely lighting effects. Good job!
A very original entry! Beautiful graphics, but the invisible obstacles confused me a little bit.
Found it kinda pretty, the blocks going over the target was annoying though! Cool game :)
This game was legit SCARY! I really like the idea of it, original. Dont know if it was intended or not but its really hard to see were you are haha
Interesting concept, but it's hard! Especially at the beginning, when we have zero blobs to pain with. Losing sometimes feel a bit arbitrary. The graphics are very pretty though!
Really beautiful, every game is an abstract painting, I love tha
Really beautiful, every game is an abstract painting, I love that. I didn't understood what kills you, is it the suddunly popping white squares ? Anyway, good job !
Cool stuff, the effects are really nice. At first I was wondering what was killing me but then I realised the black obstacles showed up against the 'paint', which was really cool. Nice job.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Pretty fun game!!!
