Honey, Where's my honey?

by Vidsneeze - Jam Entry

Help the young lad collect his yellow goo.

WASD or Arrows

I made the whole game myself, was trying to make it in time for the compo but failed xD

Also please excuse my poor music looping skills

(if you find any bugs let me know! he he)

Links for stand alones are also in the itch page

(The game has a weird level system, as you collect more honey the level gets tougher until you reach the final level)

The games Art is VERY nice! The sounds/music are quite good also, but the gameplay is lacking. No matter how fast it got I never really had any issues playing.

Youve done a great job. Game is nice but its too easy and I dont know whats the objective, and why you place door in top?

Pretty fun, cute art design, but a tad repetative, however pretty polished

That's some charming sprite art you got there! I don't think there's enough going on the gameplay side of things, though. It just ends up being too easy to avoid everything.

Love the artwork! especially the grandma. Gameplay was good but there could be improvements, my recommendations would be improve the level progression system(I found that the game was a fair too easy for a long time), a score counter of how many yellow goo that has been obtained, and interesting enemies that have different path systems. Overall nice entry!

Super cute, and the controls feel really good! I agree with other commenters, I wanted more of a reason to be collecting honey.

A pitty you did not make it for the compo. It will be judged more harshly. But I like it, nice animations and fun game.

Nice little entry, I love that art!
A little simple but it's great for a Jam title ;P

Fun game and neat graphics, would be great if it had a game over screen with the scores. I don't find the level system to be weird, but I did find it rather hard to lose. I collided with the bat just to see what would happen :P

Nice and clean, could use a little difficulty though.
Nice job anyway :)

Same, cool graphics but the game is definitely not challenging and too repetitive.
Also the music volume is pretty low and even if it's a short loop, I really appreciate the effort: Always better than no sound at all.

Thank you all so much for trying out the game! I know is a bit easy there are about 7 levels, every time all the enemies die at once is because you cleared a level he he
The game over screen appears once you go through the door but only after you have beaten the game can you do that he he Thanks again!

The art and animation are very charming, and the controls feel really good. I wish the difficulty ramped up faster, since you have to start all the way back at the beginning when you get hit, and the game is quite easy for the first couple of minutes. I'd also like to see how much honey I've collected while playing.

Really nice graphics and animations! Nice music too. I think a reverse counter, of how many bags of honey do you still need, will show that the game has a purpose. But you did a good job, specially with the graphics :D
