At first I tought the scroll was broken. Until I decided to use the nighvision.
Fun game
You can move the camera and your character at the same time, I didn't figure it at the beginning.
The drone screen was a good idea.
Neat concept for sure, but I was disappointed by the resulting tactics. It seems like the kind of game where my drone should give me an advantage over the enemies, so that if I use the drone carefully I can sneak up and take people out. There are a few factors that get in the way. the enemies are never surprised to see me, they just start shooting right away. They don't seem to have a "rear facing" so I can't get the drop on them. I might as well just walk to the chopper, and shoot in the direction of bullets. In that sense the drone is not an advantage, but a disadvantage, since all it really does is force me to stand still every once in a while.
Nevertheless! I like the idea and I think you could elaborate it into a deeper game in the post jam.
The shotgun is so annoying, btw: even at close range it was very inaccurate. Why are the bullets so small? Bullets should be at least the size of a man's chest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJdEqssNZ-U
@ZNCatlaw Olly (Artwork) here. Obviously a lack-of-time was the reason for most of your issues, we still think the overall game is solid, and the combination of raycast shadows & a nightvision drone provides a really interesting and unique game mechanic.
It's always a case of "if only we had more time" but we're very proud of our end product here!
The idea with the drone is really cool. I would have like if the graphics were a little more contrasting so I could see what was a wall a little better but overall it was really cool.
@cxsquared it was a balancing act with the graphics, we wanted to make it deliberately hard to see without the drone, to push usage of our unique game mechanic
Great with the theme! Very innovation, nice graphics too, and great music!
Nice idea. I think the combat could use some polish, and adding more strategy/stealth options could give some interesting player choice. Nice work though!
Nice game, but I was missing some stealth. Without stealth it is useles to have a dron. Keep up the good work!
Btw. Check out my project too, thank you!
Nice game, interesting "alternative" view mechanic with the drone. I managed to play it through, even though it was a little challenging at first.
I loved the concept, even tho I think you have to replace the night-vision camera for an infrared one. The enemies are too camouflaged to be properly seen with the drone. But I still love it :)
Great idea, but gunplay and movement need polish. Also at times it's difficult to understand what the hell is going on because of the graphics. Everything is just too small and too grey.

Scrolling should center on your guy, reloading should be automatic at end of clip. Overall, a good entry. Maybe a less annoying sound for the drone mode.
Hey that was a great use of the theme. I love switching between drone & soldier to find my enemies. I found it hard to get the drop on enemies even when I knew where they were because they would start shooting instantly upon detection.
Interesting idea. The sound effects of all the bullets shooting at once got annoying and loud, maybe try to limit the amount of bullet sounds. I think you have an interesting idea of switch between views, it would be interesting to see it explored a bit further.
VICTORY! I made it to the chopper! Nice mechanic of switching between drone and soldier.
Great concept. It seems like the only way to win is to mad dash to the chopper and hope you hit the right section of that last wall. The mechanic is a great idea though, and I'd love to see a more detailed, tuned version of the game (with more ammo!).
@barryrowe I assure you i have completed this game many times by carefully picking my way through the enemies using the drone; it's meant to be more of a stealth game, with a hotline miami vibe to it
Fun concept. I did find it difficult at times to tell the enemies and the terrain apart.
That was hard, but fun. I like the panning of the level, it suits with the theme. But it's hard to navigate while the enemies are shooting at you. Good game. :D
This is a fun game that is perhaps a tad bit too challenging when I first started. But as I continued on it ended up getting a little easier. Great game for Jam, would like to see things added to it.
I like the idea, but as someone else said, the enemies need to have some better AI so they don't always sense you before you know exactly where they are. The drone doesn't add much in the way of tactics as is. Still, for only 72 hours you can't be too picky! Nice entry.
I appreciate game concept (it's really cool!) but whole game was too confusing for me. I couldn't even properly see what's happening on the screen because lack of contrast. Shoots mechanism was also weird - is hit/miss random thing? Also framerate was worse after a while.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Sound doesn't seem to work. My tactic was just to get to the chopper asap but this could be a really cool tactical/stealth game :)
