Well, here's the game.
Arrow Keys to move, just listen to the messages to know more( i.e. don't mash space to fast!)
I hope it's fun and silly enough.
I personally don't think that the "violence here is strong"
but if it's inappropriate for kids tell me please!

haha.. good job man.. i liked the particle effects.. i couldn't get past the mantis tho ;p
@hobieV if you don't beat the mantis, you have not seen the REAL game.
Hint: time your dashes, you can use them in mid air.
Dash just after you got hit!(So that you don't suffer the knockback...)
I really don't understand what to do (and i wait the message at the begining) so i didn't rate it. Good audio !
Ok, i get it. Hard time to understand what to do at the begining. And WTFFFFFFFF happens omg. I got the icecream don't know if it's the end x).
@PhDAA The ice-cream is nearly the end!(Kinda is IMHO)
The screen still has to be shattered once again to get the end message, which basically tells you to quit.
You haven't missed anything :).
Wasn't sure what to expect with a 120MB download. Good action, and the progressiveness was a nice addition. Good job!
yo
finally.
Haha, I am not sure what I just played there! A very, ehh, psychedelic experience for sure. Actually managed to win the game? (I got that icecream). Despite that it was quite hard. Really liked the mantis-eating-you-amimation ;)
I got icecream and eaten by a mantis. Would play again.
(liked the piano jam in the background... got pretty heavy when the mantis came in :) )
I was quite a fan of the background, as well as the piano serenade. The bouncy little green thing was also really fun to kick around and had interesting interactions with the character, but I never really could figure out what it was that I was playing. Again. Thumbs up for the piano.
I don't know what this was, but it was cool! Quite a neat effect when the screen suddenly fell apart. And is it true that there is no actual lose state? I didn't do very well but didn't seem like I could die. Which is nice! :D
A psychedelic experience with bouncy physics :) Got eaten by the Mantis twice. Fun graphics and gameplay. Combat felt a little too bouncy and imprecise, though :)
I couldn't make it past the mantis. I didn't really understand what was going on, especially at the beginning.
kick the frog to accomplish your mission!
11/10
would play again!
Woooooow this was way cooler than I initially thought. I couldn't figure out how to start the game for a while. For those of you who, like me, were lost at the beginning: kick the frog (green thing) into the snowman.
I didn't beat the Mantis, but oh man was the death scene cool! Thanks for this strange surreal game!
Thanks for your feedback! I've patched my game with a hotfix for the issue you experienced on the second stage by adding a switch on the right side so you can no longer get into an unwinnable state for that area.
I'm the author, so as to confuse no-one,the comment above has nothing to do with this game.

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
what a good game!!!
