Welcome to the LD31 Infinite football runner
The Quarterback throws the screen and you're off!
Use Arrow Keys or WASD to dodge the defense
Try to beat my high score of 258
I used Unity, paint, gimp, and good ol' Microsoft Word (with lightshot)

Nice! I like the screen scrolling effect. Got to 100 yards, but sometimes it's hard to tell whether a defender will hit you or not.
A very interesting game! Not what I expected at all, and the style was pretty reminiscent to what the theme made me think of, game-wise. Good job!
Not being American I don't quite understand, but looks like a cool idea to a runner game, need to see all the graphics at a distance to qualify for 'WHOLE' game in one screen.. but close.
139 yards! Not bad for a european, huh?
I think that with some more variation, e.g. different players, other movement patterns, and a way to tackle, the game would be fun for more than just a minute.
And, as madlee says, neat perspective. I'm a sucker for 2D characters in 3D space.
Theme is spot on, graphics are fun, never ending football field and players, check.. whats not to love!
Cool and well done!
It is fun.
The mixture between 3D and 2D works here, except maybe for the title font, but that could be fixed :)
Cool camera angle, I stopped at 100 yards because I thought I might have won. Woulda been cool to hear a voice yelling at all those awesome plays I was making (jukes).
Fun Jersey number too.
Interesting use of the theme - I wouldn't have thought that an infinite runner would be possible ;)
There's a bit of a lack of variety though: once you've dodged a few defenders you've kind of seen the whole game :S
I used to play a "racing" game that had a similar sort of style on the TRS-80. Cool to see something like that fit into this theme. Nice sprite work, too.
Really cool and addictive, seems like a lot of flash games I see and you did it in only 48 hours! Maybe add some variety to the game?
Hi there. Like the rolling world/ground approach. Got 61yds first try. Like the music and crowd sounds too. Game maybe needs a bit more challenge. Good job!
It fits really well with the theme congratulations :). Why all the enemies have 69 on their T-shirts XD?
Good effort. The game needs a little more variation to keep it interesting, though. It's also hard to judge the distance between the characters.
Music seemed like it should be sad music for when you get tackled, maybe something more triumphant for when you're actually running. I like the Moosen.
This is about as good as Flappy Bird, if it were a football-themed FPS. :)
the visuals are very nice, gameplay is simple yet fun, cool game, well done

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Neat perspective. Had fun playing for a minute (I think I got to around 130 yds? what kind of football field is this!?) but it does get a little tedious. I think if the difficulty ramped up a little quicker I'd have played a bit longer. Well done!
