Fuckin'Dark !

by Tipyx - Compo Entry

Aaaaaaaand it's done !

It's the spiritual sequel of the game I made for the LD 27. I think I love make infiltration game :D.

The Game :
- You can only go to the room where the light is on, your hero is afraid of dark !
- In some room, there are switches which toggle light in other room
- Don't be catch by the foes, or you'll have to restart for the beginning !

The Keys :
- Arrow Keys : Move
- Space : Use Button

If you have any question, please leave a comment or send me a tweet to @Tipyx_FR

Cool, though a smidge unforgiving when enemies see you through a wall and send you to the start. Otherwise, very nice~

Well done, especially the conveyor-belt puzzle mechanic. But the screen is way too big, and it runs pretty slow on my machine.

The core idea is a good one for this theme but I think the leveldesign needs tuning especially on the last 3-4 rooms which are totally appart from the first ones. Trying to bring the player in one of them without reaching the exit, then having to turn light off to continue would have been more fun.

Great puzzle! Challenging! I have three rooms left before the exit but I don't know what to do!I swear I pushed all the buttons! Not finished with this level but it makes me want to play more. Great work!

Nicely thought gamme. I luckily beat the game because I could run one of the last foes!

Sadly I'm playing on a low resolution laptop so I had to scroll some times haha

Dec 9, 2014 @ 1:17am

Cool game! Love the moving treads, reminds me of some old school rpgs! The screen resolution was too big for my laptop resolution though, which made the game a little more difficult to play. Good job!

Oh man, this puzzle style is so nostalgic, oh boy. Great job!

A pretty decent stealth game with understandable game mechanics.

Sweet game! It was very intense. Ohhhh the couple times I got caught was so devastating!

Very fun! Challenging in a good way. Winning was so rewarding. Only thing is it didn't fit my screen so I had to scroll down? And then the arrow keys weren't working and I lost! Haha

Nice entry :) The level design has some flaws which could easily be fixed: some rooms are very challenging (the conveyor belt) while some other are super easy.

Very nice, but quite unforgiving (the guy at the room all at the top is pretty sensitive... ^^')

Great game! Graphics are nice and music too.
The gameplay is simple but efficient.
The theme is respected. The level a bit large otherwise.

Was fun!

I liked the idea but the section with the moving ground was really hard to "read" and was pretty unfun... starting from the beginning doesn't help, and I gave up when I had to cross that section for the third time.

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.

MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs ( and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
