this is cool, i like the softness of the color palette you used; it compliments the small music loop in the background :P
the movement system reminds me a bit of how Ghost Trick worked. Kind of cool to see that applied to a more action-heavy game. It works very well.
It's quite interesting! I love the explode effect of words and the mechanism. But the bgm has a little empty moment maybe?
Nice idea, it's fun. I would probably add something to show progress during the game, how well you are doing, a kanji counter or something, well done!
@fierysquirrel Thanks for playing!! At the upper left, the white words means the score!
Pretty fun experience, even though i have no clue what the words mean. However, I miss some sense of progression and don't really know if i die or that the level just progresses. But the style, music and gameplay match super well.
Cool game. Simple mechanic that provides interesting gameplay. Would have loved to see letters with different abilities perhaps.
Hi there. Firing away, blowing up pesky yellow words, fun. Didn't quite get how to be strategic, was luck. Thought I'd got level complete, but I think now I got killed... Like the sounds. Good job overall!
Thank you all for playing my game!! @mrexcessive: thank you for your feedback, the rule is if your character stands on a word, it will explode in 10 sec.
Love it but the music loop is too short it gets annoying fast!
Nice game, found it particularly innovative and unique, with the traditional Chinese symbols. The controls are smooth and nice, though I had to read description to find out what they were. The music is quite nice, but after a while gets extremely repetitive and annoying.
Overall however, a solid entry! Great!
Fun for a bit, but quickly becomes repetitive. I had to mute the audio after a few seconds. The symbols looked nice. One of the more unique games I've played. I just wish I knew my high score.

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
I got it! Connect words to fire bullets, and can't stay too long at one word or it'll explode. It's pretty funny. :D
