A huge adventure squeezed into a small space! Quest to obtain the 4 crystals of power and defeat the evil lurking beneath!
Programmed with Game Maker: Studio. The game isn't quite complete, there were supposed to be 4 temples to house the crystals, with a boss each. I had also planned for more items and powerups to be available (which explains the unused mp bar). When I've got time I intend to bring this game to my original plan of completion.
Edit: Fixed a bug that teleported you to the final boss whenever you died!

Awesome graphics, but rly a small size, hard to play
and cool rooms design! ;]
Died first time and when my sprite reappeared the controls did nothing, died a second time and got a fatal error:
FATAL ERROR in
action number 1
of Draw Event
for object O_RopeBridge:
Push :: Execution Error - Variable Get -1.Sag(100033, -2147483648)
at gml_Object_O_RopeBridge_Draw_0
Besides that, this is a nice interpretation of the theme. I like the idea that it's a zelda like world, but screens are large enough now that you can draw the whole map at once.
Could probably have done with 2x pixel scale, it's really tiny.
Wow impressive work on the graphics and on the level! Such a tiny playground though :P I'm so close to my screen right now lol
Really cool game. I liked the different biomes a lot. What's up with using mouse buttons in a game like this? It's incredibly awkward.
I love how there's a lot of small (yes) details like the death animation on the water and stuffs. Good work!
Great graphics! also nice work on making the game be all on one screen
THE ART! I LOVE IT!
Please make this into a legit full game! I myself have been programming in GM for 9 years, and I would love to collab in something like this! :D
Nice looking world, although I don't really think it being small brings anything other than satisfying the theme.
The graphics looks really nice, it's a shame everything is so zoomed out. Could this be fixed by placing the areas differently and increasing the resolution? Really great job on making so much content for the game (considering it's just a 2 day project).
First adventure game I've played where you have to squint to play
I would really have liked more from this.
Maybe if you could attack in a direction other than where you just walked it'd be more playable, but I couldn't hit any enemies because I would have to walk into them in order to damage them...
Art: Great!
I loved the small animations and features (bridge moving when you walk on it, push rocks to fill in holes to progress, reminds me of Zelda and Pokemon!)
I love everything about this, in my top 3.
Enjoyable and very pretty! I really like the scale, and nice visual touches like swaying bridges and flowing water help things feel dynamic.
Nice game, but i don't know if the size of the sprites are the best option for make it playeble for everybody :-/
I was waiting for zoom or something, this is really small to enjoy properly. But the graphics is nice and the gameplay features some interesting mechanics. Also I'd appreciate at least some sounds.
It looks gorgeous! Almost torture to have to sit 10 cm from the screen to see it though :( The controls could have been a bit smoother, but everything else is there for a nice game.
This is incredible!
Please add some music and sfx, i can help you with that if you like.
Little hard to see, but a great idea - nice use of the teme. great job.

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
I love how you implemented the single screen into it!
