OOh i so like this sweety animation of everything, its amazing man!
cant believe what it has been done in 48 hours ;] gj
AWESOME! very nice work! music, graphics, gameplay, everything is awesome! except Rodolph, god damn he is a very annoying reindeer
Super awesome delicious game! Took me a while to figure out I had to run the reindeer off of the screen though. And I lost from the 2 reindeers, and then had to start over again :( Is there an ending where I find Rudolph? As always, you make such a cute game :)
Whahah those conversations where hilarious! Well done for the short amount of time!
Polished to fuck as usual, this category was always going to be perfect for you. Loved the dialogue, especially Rudolph's.
Rudolph was tough, but I hid round the fence and walked off while he was picking up snow.
I was only a medium santa :( . 47%.
5/5 for Festive Spirit too.
Awesome game. The way the tiles (dis)appear is a really cool effect. Funny dialog, and of course the graphics and audio is great. Keep up the good work!
This game is awesome. Great graphics (with amazing effects too) and fun gameplay and it feels really polished. Only thing I found little annoying was that the screen flashed quite much. (might just be me)
Really polished, impressive art and how the world itself was used to defeat the reindeer. This was a blast to play.
I'm just wondering if Rudolf was invincible? Snowballs merely pushed him a little, never knocking him out. I only won by abusing the pathfinding and making him get stuck against the house, so he couldn't move and I could calmly just walk away and make him fall.
-Fun interpretation of the theme :)
-Liked the style of the contour of the screen :)
-Pretty repetitive gameplay :(
A christmas game with no Snowman reference?! I'm ok with this!
Anyways, awesome game, loved the AI, even though Rudolph fell into its own death and made the game quite easy :(
The controls don't work. :(
I wanted to play this so bad, the pixelart is really great.
He says he can create snowballs with space, then I can press space, or any other button but nothing happens... Well, except "R" which restarts the game... (On windows 7 64-bit)
Amazing work, the sounds the graphics,
animation feels so smooth....
GREAT!
Wouldn't start for me! D3d borked out while compiling a shader. Since this is Game Maker though I don't really know what you could do about it :\
This was cute! Nice job. Seemed to flicker a bit as I played, though.
Santa is snow ball fighting with his reindeer. I like how snow on one square is a limited ressource, that does get replensihed by the snow fall. Fighting all the single reindeer feels a bit repetitive and it would be more fun if it was shorter. The conclusion of the story is good. Playing the game feels pretty good. - Tilman (from compo-account)
Okay, I gave it another try, I found out, that when you have a gamepad connected, the keyboard controls don't work anymore and you have to play with the gamepad. Well, good to know.
Graphics and animation are really awesome, I had no audio though... The combat was at some times really easy, but sometimes really annoying when you get locked down and run out of snowballs.
But overall I liked it!
the generated world and actually using it in gameplay was awesome!! I loved the art too! and "Muscle Santa" - fantastic.
Wow! Super impressive! Really enjoyed all the cool fx you put in as always :) Nice one!
Amazing game! It is really fun and polished!
The graphics were awesome, and I really liked all the little details you added, with the "warping world animation", the fact that after gathering some snow the tile will be bare... the fantastic throwing animation...
Also, the sounds and music really helped setting the mood!
I really liked this game. :)
But there's one thing bugging me... Was the controller support intentional? Keyboard and mouse controls get disabled if you have a controller connected, though I could play with it and it worked normally after I disconnected it...

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
Very fun game :D for some reason the screen was very flickery though, loved that you used the disappearing world as a game mechanic
