Well, my previous games all were arcades. And I just thought - "Why didn't I ever see strategy games in LD?" So, I've decided to make one!

Your goal is to find an opponent and destroy all its bases, while keeping your bases operational. Build new bases and make more forces to overwhelm the enemy.

Game will automatically select units and bases for you. If it selected a unit, right-click somewhere to move unit to this position. If it selected a base, left-click at a unit type at the right side to start producing it. If "End Turn" button is green, click it to start the next turn. If you are not sure what to do next, click "Next unit/base" button. That's it!

To build a new base, produce a Mobile Construction Vehicle and bring it to a free spot. At the next turn, select it and click "Build base" button. There is a distance constraint - you can not build the bases next to other bases.

I wanted to create a game that I can really enjoy. I've put a lot of effort into opponent player AI, so be prepared - it can expand and defend effectively, and sometimes even catch you off guard! It took me 2 hours to beat an enemy at 135% difficulty.

A nice battle-focused version of Civ. Impressive. Lots of things in there already that could be taken a lot further with more time.

"Wunderwaffe" cool :D Is there a shortcut for ending the turn? Also, finally a game that uses right click too.. It's rare to see good strategy games.

I would like to see a hotkey to end the turn, clicking the button becomes tedious. Very fleshed out, the fog of war is impressive. A bit too slow for my liking.

Hi there. Looks like your game has a lot of depth in there somewhere, but apart from moving a few Army units a couple of squares, couldn't work out how to do anything. Needs a tutorial, simple start I think.

It's nice to see a strategy game but since I didn't see anything happening exept me moving around I stopped playing. Nice effort still !

A bit confusing, but fun once you've gotten the hang of it!

Pretty impressive! The first strategy game I've played on here. It was a bit hard to see, but was still pretty fully featured for the time constraints. Good job.

Nice str, a little hard to understand controls etc etc but nice works. Like it

Wow, that was surprisingly engaging. The only thing I didn't quite get was the cost of units.. I never knew how much I had to spend and where that money/resources came from, so everythign that happened and the units I could order kind of seemed like magic.
Also kind of impressive that you pulled off to write a complete working AI for such a deep strategy game!

Nicely done, a bit hard to understand the controls though :)

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.

NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.

PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.

MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.

MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
