Nice game. Would be nice to see a faster paced game implementing this mechanic.
Loved that transition effect between the different screens and the sound to go with it. Wonderful. It also felt like a complete project which is rare for Ludum Dare games I think. Although the back tracking to the tree guy at the end is kind of a dick move! ;p Good job!
Wow, this is awesome!
Solution for "One screen problem" is really elegant.
Graphics is simple and clear.
I love it =)
I liked the concept a lot. Would like to see it expanded with improved graphics and controls :)
Great smooth transition between screens. Really love the exploration as well! Wish more games would harness the curiosity of the mind! Nice entry.
Oh, i love this game. Feels like a quest from old school rpg game. Animation of the world looks pretty.
very good transition effects and interesting visuals, although it would be nice to have an option for running.
The guy with the trees made me chuckle :) Excellent work!
I have nothing in particular to pick on. Good transitions and funny dialogue. Nice work!
innovative thinking for the one screen concept. the game felt a bit slow though. and i saw in the game it said " 2 fold swan unlocks ancient knowledge" but when i got to the swan, the game just ended without giving any feedback or reward for finding it!? felt like i wasted my time and energy for nothing....
But other than that, the game is really good. Cheers!
Great game ! I played all the way to the end. It has beautiful graphics and sounds. And I love Rpgs so...5/5!
I enjoyed the feeling of adventure and the witty banter with the NPC's
Also, it's nice to find a game that wraps things up at the end.
Thanks.
Oooh, an origami game! Ours is about origami too. You should come check it out :>
I really like the way you did the transitions to keep the game "All on one screen" for this. Very clever! The SFX work really well together, too. The volume's well-tuned and all that. I also enjoyed the writing a lot... honestly, it reminds me a lot of Fez, and that's a good thing. The only thing I wish is that the walk cycle was a little bit faster, since backtracking to you-know-which area took a while.
Overall, a solid entry. Thank you for the game!
I love the concepts and art for this game. If given more time, I think this game could really be marketed, its pretty cool!
What an innovative way to use the theme. The art style is great, but gameplay was a bit slow for my taste.
Nice use of theme, nice graphics, great game! I Included it in part 18 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/fGRz-9CpOIg

TEAMS: Teams entering the Jam should pick a single representative to submit your game, or create a team specific account you can share. We currently do not support Team Voting, but sharing an account and together playing and rating games is acceptable.
NOT LOGGED IN?: If you get a message about not being logged in, even though you are, it’s because your web browser cached the non-logged in page. You can fix this by either refreshing your cache or clearing your cache. CTRL+F5 in many browsers. Chrome is a bit more work. Press F12 to enable Developer Mode, then you can right click on the refresh button and select “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”. This option is unavailable if you are not in Developer Mode.
PORTS: Ports to other platforms can be done after the deadline. That said, the sooner you finish your port, the sooner people can play your game, improving your chances of placing in the final results. For best results, provide a Web version of your game, or a Windows version with no dependencies. Also be sure to rate about 20 games to improve your visibility.
MY GAME DOESN’T SHOW UP: If you can’t find your game, it’s usually because the URL to your downloads are missing ‘http://‘. Fix your URLs (http://mysite.com/mygame.zip) and you will show up. Alternatively, if you just posted it, wait a minute. The cache may not have refreshed yet.
MY GAME CRASHES, IS UNBEATABLE, OR I MADE A TYPO: We allow you to fix crash or win condition bugs after the deadline (in a sense, like “porting” to support more players). We also allow “typo” bugs. I.e. A true that should have been a false, a word that should have been a different word, very tiny changes that you would have caught if you had more sleep. We leave this open to interpretation, but generally speaking your game should be identical to the game you submitted. No new features, just things you messed up last minute. Typos.
RPG feel, love the transition effects. Excellent job!
